What is BSc. Forensic Science?
BSc. In Forensic Sciences involves important components such as Forensic Pathology, Psychiatry, Psychology, Medicine and Dentistry. It is a laboratory based science consisting of related subjects of Chemistry, Biology, and Physics and so on. The discipline includes crime scene investigation including fire and explosion scenes and drug laboratories. The subject relates with scientific knowledge to aid in the administration of justice, and has no boundaries as far as subjects are concerned; it makes use of all faculties of science subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Medicine among others.

BSc. Forensic Science: Duration
Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science or B.Sc. Forensic Science is an undergraduate (UG) level course program which introduces students to the fundamentals of science. It is a 3 years course program which is divided into 6 semesters. Every semester lasts for the period of 6 months.
BSc. Forensic Science: Eligibility Criteria
The basic eligibility criteria needed to be met for admission to the course is a successful completion of the Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent qualification from a recognized educational Board, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and/ or Math as a mandatory subjects and a minimum aggregate marks of 55%.
