What is BSc. Maths?
B.Sc. Mathematics is the study of quantity, structure, space, shape and change. A Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics is based on the depth knowledge of geometry, trigonometry, graphs, integration, calculus and many other theories. It also involves related topics like Computer Science, Statistics and Probability. This degree course helps aspirants in building a good ground level base for studying higher.
B.Sc. stands for Bachelor of Science and whereas B.Sc. Mathematics is a Bachelor’s Degree program. As a technical view, it is a Science course. BSc. Maths: Duration
Bachelor of Science or B.Sc. in Mathematics is an undergraduate (UG) level course program which teaches students the fundamentals of mathematics. It is a 3 year course and is divided in 6 semesters each whereas each semester last for the period of 2 months. If it is a distance programs the minimum duration is 3 years and maximum duration is 6 years.

The minimum eligibility criteria required for studying this course is a 10+2 or equivalent qualification in Science or Commerce branch. The educational qualification should have been completed from a recognized educational board with a minimum mark of 50% in Mathematics.
