AIMS Test for Management Admissions or simply known as ATMA is a national-level online entrance exam for getting admissions to MBA, PGATMA /AIMS. The entrance exam is conducted by Association of Indian Management School.
The ATMA is a single window test and is organized multiple times in a year. Admissions to these courses are based on ranks only. ATMA 2020 registration process had started on 17th February 2020.
Candidates must visit the official website to know more about the registration process of ATMA 2020 entrance exam. The ATMA registrations have been made online. Last date for submission of application forms falls on 18th May 2020.
The registration process includes registration, application form filling, uploading of scanned photographs and signature in the dimensions as instructed. The applicants have to submit their working email id and phone number for providing intimations later on.
All applicants must fill their application forms correctly along with the late fee within the time period specified. Application forms and payments after the due date will not be entertained.
The option of selecting two exam centres is provided to the candidate. Scanned images of your photo and signature must be in.jpg or .jpeg formats only. Candidates must take print outs for later use.
Applicants have to submit Rs. 1298/- inclusive of GST as application fee. The submission of application forms is through online only.
The medium of payment of the Application Form is either through credit card, debit card or net-banking. The application fee is non-refundable and so take care while paying the application fee.

How to Apply for ATMA 2020?

ATMA Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should refer the instruction booklet or online Application Form guidelines before applying for the examination:
- Candidates should be a Bachelor in any stream from a recognized University. The candidate must score at least 50% marks in their Bachelor’s Degree.
- Candidates appearing in the last year of their degree are eligible.
- Applying candidate should be 21 years.
ATMA 2020 Exam Pattern
ATMA 2020 Exam pattern can be checked by the candidates as displayed below:
- The ATMA exam is conducted online through computer-based test mode.
- There are six sections in the entrance exam question paper.
- The questions will be in multiple choice format with four options given. You need to tick the right option.
- A total of 180 questions are framed in the entrance exam.
- The exam is of 3hour duration.
- 1 mark is awarded for each correct answer and 0.25 marks deducted for every wrong/incorrect answer.

ATMA 2020 Syllabus
- Candidates should possess the analytical skills to analyse the situation and find out answers. It includes topics from Reasoning, Course of Actions, strong / weak Arguments etc. For part 2, questions come from Coding-Decoding, Arguments, Arrangements; Syllogism in this section.
- Candidates must have clarity on English language usage, vocabulary, grammar. It includes topics such as Passage, Grammar etc. In part 2 of this section, questions will be from Verbal Reasoning and Reading Comprehension.
- Candidates should have clarity on solving Mathematics & Numerical problems. Questions are set from Arithmetic, Algebra and Modern Maths will be in this section. For 2nd part of this section, questions will be from Data Interpretation, Modern Maths & Geometry in this section.
ATMA 2020 Admit Card
ATMA Admit Card will be released by AIMS on its official website after the due date of the registration process. Successful candidates already registered online can download their Admit Card from the official website.
Admit Cards
will not be sent through post or by other means to the candidate. The candidate
has to download the Admit Card from the related website only. The ATMA Admit
Card has been released on 5th February 2020 and is ready for
download to the candidates.

ATMA Cut Off Marks
Cut off marks are the marks necessary for the candidate to qualify for the admission process. Colleges send separate cut off marks to candidates.
Those candidates who secure equal to or score more than the cut off scores are eligible for further rounds of admission. The ATMA cut off marks are released along with the results by the concerned authority of AIMS. Candidates need to keep a close watch on their preferred colleges lest they may lose the chances of getting qualified.
ATMA Answer Key
ATMA answer keys will be updated for all questions answered in the entrance exam paper. The official declaration of the ATMA Answer Key will be published a week after the commencement of the entrance exam.
Any challenges or objections raised against the examination board of Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) required the candidates to pay a certain fee for each question raised as an objection.

ATMA 2020 Counselling
ATMA 2020 Counselling process begins in July 2020 after the declaration of the Results. There is no specific date assigned for counselling by the AIMS. Shortlisted candidates need to check the ATMA Counselling dates. All successful applicants must keep track of the ATMA 2020 Counselling dates.
Students will be allotted seats in five different institutions they had chosen at the time of registration for the counselling process. Seats for candidates will be determined by the ranks scored and the college cut off marks.
Selected candidates are requested to carry their personal documents/certificates and marksheets at the time of admission. If the candidates fail to bring these documents, then the candidate’s admission stands cancelled.

Reminders for the Exam Day
- It is necessary to carry all the listed documents to the exam centre.
- All applicants appearing for the ATMA exam should reach the exam centre at 1.00 pm. The entrance exam begins from 2.00 pm and ends at 5.00 pm.
- No electronic devices should be carried to the exam hall.
- All appearing candidates must bring a ballpoint pen for the exam.
- No change of test centres is allowed, except in special cases where the request has been made in advance.
- Registration Fee once paid is non-refundable.
ATMA 2020 Preparation Tips
Candidates must learn and cover all the topics taught to clear their concepts. You as a candidate need to learn how to devote time to your subjects. The best thing you can do is to prepare a time table and follow it.
