ASSAM CEE 2020 APPLICATION FORM
All applicants must be aware of the terms and conditions for filling the Application Form before submitting it online to the concerned institute. A few guidelines that all candidates must be cautious about are:
- The application form can be accessed available online from third week of April 2020.
- Candidates can fill the application form by online only.
- Candidates will have to upload their scanned images of signature and photograph in JPG or JPEG format.
- The candidates will have to fill their academic and personal details in the application form that includes candidate’s name, contact number, qualifying exam scores respectively correctly to complete the registration process.
- Candidates are advised to check all the filled details carefully before the final submission.
- There will be no correction and modifications done after the final submission of the application form.
- Candidates are advised to take a printout of the application form for further proceedings.
APPLICATION FEES
- The application fee is Rs. 600/-.
- The application fee can be paid online using state bank collect which facilitates payment through debit card/ credit card/ net banking or offline (e-Challan) mode.
- Candidates can pay the fees at any branch of State Bank of India after generating the cash deposit form.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- He/she must be an Indian citizen.
- The age of the aspirant must be between 17 to 21 years as on 1st August 2020.
- An age relaxation is there for 3 years to SC/ST candidates and 1 year for B. Sc graduates.
- Candidate should be a permanent resident of Assam state.
ELIGIBILITY FOR ENGINEERING COURSES
- Candidates must pass 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized board or university.
- Candidates should have passed the exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English without any grace marks in one sitting.
- Candidates should have obtained 50% marks (45% for SC, 40% for ST) in the qualifying exam.
- Candidates must qualify the exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English (PCME) as the main subjects.
- Appearing candidates are also eligible for the Assam CEE examination.
ASSAM CEE 2020 EXAM PATTERN
- Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted offline mode.
- Duration: The exam will be of a 3hour duration.
- Number of Questions: The Question paper will contain 120 questions.
- Type of Questions: The question paper will be of multiple-choice questions.
- 4 marks are given for each right answer.
- Every wrong answer is marked 1 mark.

Application Forms for ASSAM CEE 2020
- Candidates will be able to fill the application form online.
- No application form will be accepted through offline by post or courier.
- The application form will be filled from the first week of March 2020 till last week of March 2020.
- While filling the application form, candidates have to upload their passport size photograph & signature.
- The size of photo must be between 20 KB to 35 KB & signature size should be between 15 KB to 30 KB.
- During the process of registration, candidates will have to fill a valid/ working email ID & phone number.

- There is no need to send hard copy of application form or any document to the officials.

ASSAM CEE 2020 EXAM PATTERN
The examination is divided into three parts namely, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Each section of the exam question paper comprises 40 questions. The total time allotted to the candidates for completing the exam is 3 hours.
Each correct answer fetches you 4 marks while for each wrong answer 1 mark would be deducted. The question paper is available in English and Assamese as well.

ASSAM CEE 2020 Syllabus
The ASSAM CEE 2020 Syllabus is divided into three sections namely, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The detailed structure of the listed subjects is listed below:
Physics Syllabus:
Current electricity, unit and measurement, laws of motion, magneto statics, work, motion in one dimension, energy and power, oscillation, waves, transference of heats, electromagnetic waves, heat and thermodynamics, electron and photon, atom, ray optics, motion in three dimension, molecular and nuclei, wave and semiconductor and gravitation.
Chemistry Syllabus:
Atomic structure, redox reactions and electrochemistry, chemistry of heavy metals, no metals, boron family, nuclear chemistry, Some of the basic concepts are, solution, state of matters, organic compound containing halogens, classifications of organic compound, synthetic and natural polymer, chemical equilibrium, surface chemistry and nitrogen family, carbon family, some basic principle.
Mathematics Syllabus:
Sets, heights and distance, binomial theorems and its applications, law of motion projectile, relation between roots and coefficient numbers, arithmetic geometry and harmonic progression, complex numbers, arithmetic geometric series, integral calculus, polynomial, matrix and quadratics equations, conic section and family of circles.

ASSAM CEE 2020 RESULTS
The ASSAM CEE 2020 Results will be declared by the concerned officials. A merit list would also be made available after publishing of the results. All candidates will be selected based on their scores in the qualifying exam.
- Candidates with higher ranks have more probability of getting seats as compared to others in the list. In the case of a tie (i.e. when two candidates have the same score), then the following criteria will decide their qualification process:
- The PCM aggregate of 12th standard is considered.
- If still the qualification is equal, then the overall aggregate of PCM and English will be taken into consideration.
- If still there is a tie, then the candidates will be selected by the Chairman of the selection committee.
ASSAM CEE 2020 Counselling
ASTU conducts various counselling rounds. Selected candidates will be required to report to the allotted centre along with supporting documents. The documents will be verified at the centre and if any vacancies are left after the seat allotment then there will be another counselling round by the ASTU. Assam CEE 2020 counselling will be held in month of July 2020. Only qualified candidates can participate in the counselling. State level committee organizes. In counselling rounds, candidates have to fill the college preference, to which they want to get admitted.
Candidates are advised to attend the counselling process in person to the centre along with their original documents. Counselling will be held in offline mode.
ASSAM CEE Cut off
Assam CEE cut off 2020 is announced after declaring the result. Shortlisting of candidates is based on Cut off marks. The admission procedure is based on the candidate’s merit.
Assam CEE cut off marks is the minimum marks that students should obtain for taking admission in undergraduate courses of Assam. Cut off marks are prepared differently for different courses or colleges. Based on the cut off marks, students will be enlisted in the merit list.
