Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board is a state-level             examination conducted offline.  By clearing this exam candidates can be admitted to undergraduate courses such as agriculture, pharmacy, and health sciences in Bihar. The examination will be conducted in only one stage.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • All candidates must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Bihar State.
  • There is no age limit for the BECE 2020 examination.
  • Candidates will have to undergo Medical examination as part of their admission process.
  • Candidates for Engineering courses should have passed their 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board in India.
  • Candidates must secure 45% marks for the SC/ST Category.
  • The candidate must have studied compulsory subjects like Physics and Mathematics with any one additional subject knowledge of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and any Technical vocational subject.
  • The qualification criteria for Pharmacy Course involves passing of 12th standard or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying exam.
  • Physics and Chemistry are compulsory with any other choice of subjects like Mathematics and /or Biology.

BCECE EXAM PATTERN

  • A total of one and a half (1.5 Hours) will be provided for each section.
  • The Entrance exam will be conducted online.
  • A definite set of multiple-choice question paper is prepared.
  • The questions will be based on Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Agricultural Science.
  • A total of 100 questions will be asked from each subject.
  • You will earn four (4 Marks) for each correct answer ticked.
  • One mark is deducted for every wrong answer.

Candidates have to upload their scanned photo and 2 signatures in Hindi & English as per the above format.

REGISTRATION PROCESS OF BCECE 2020

  • Candidates must enter their name, mobile number, email id, etc to register on the official website.
  • Candidates must ensure that they enter the correct and latest email id and mobile number.
  • After your successful registration, enter your details in the registration screen in the application portal.
  • Submit your login details and your application form will appear on the screen.
  • Entering the correct personal details is mandatory to complete the registration process.
  • After due filling of the personal details, upload the scanned images in the prescribed format.
  • Now click on Save and then Continue button.
  • Next enter your academic details and submit the form.
  •  While filling the application form, if you find you have missed or fed in the wrong details, you can edit it by clicking on the Back to Edit button and then click on Submit & Continue button as directed.
  • After the submission, proceed to the payment screen and make the payment.
  • Select the Payment Gateway and complete the payment process.
  • After submitting the Application Form and Payment Fees, download the application forms named Part-A and Part-B. Take a print out as instructed for the future.

BCECE 2020 ADMIT CARD

All the eligible candidates gets the admit card online. BCECE 2020 admit card is released in the third week of April 2020.

Candidates must check all the details printed in the admit card. In case of any corrections, contact the officials immediately.

Candidates will be required to attach their postcard size photograph & enter the required details in the prescribed format. Candidates will have to bring their admit card & other required documents at the exam centre.

BCECE 2020 RESULTS

Candidates can check the BCECE 2020 result in the third week of June 2020. The result can be checked only through the website.

BCECE scorecard 2020 will be released after the declaring of the results. It will be provided to students in the fourth week of June 2020.

Candidates should enter their roll number and other required details to check the result.

Based on the marks scored in the entrance test, separate merit lists will be published for various groups. On a Tie-breaking criteria, candidates score the same marks will be analysed.

BCECE RANK CARD

The rank card of the candidates will be made available only online. Candidates can download the rank card as per the instructions listed below:

  • Click on the instructed link to download the rank card.
  • Now the candidates can login by entering their roll number and date of birth.
  • Click on Show Rank button to submit the details.
  • After successful submission, the applicants can view and download their BCECE 2020 Rank Card.
  • Candidates need to take a print out for future purpose.

BCECE 2020 Merit List

The Merit list of BCECE 2020 is prepared according to the marks scored in the BCECE Examination. This Merit list is released only after successful completion of the exam. The merit list would be declared online to the qualified candidates. Only those who have qualified the BCECE 2020 will be listed in the merit list published online.

BCECE 2020 COUNSELLING

The counselling process will be organized online. BCECE counselling 2020 will start in the third week of July 2020. Candidates will participate in the counselling as per their rank.

Various groups have different counselling organized on different dates. The counselling process will comprise of various steps such as registration, submission of choices, seat allotment, downloading of allotment letter and appearing at the reporting centre.

Once seats are allotted the candidates have to report to the allotted college on the prescribed time & date. If candidates fail to report to the allotted college, their allotment will be cancelled.

Please Note: Candidates looking for BCECE 2020 Counselling are requested to note that the admissions in engineering programs are through NTA JEE MAIN 2020, while medical admissions through NTA NEET UG 2020.

Steps for BCECE 2020 Counselling

Step 1.

  • Visit official website and click on the ‘Online Counselling Portal’.
  • Next click on the login portal and login with a valid user id and password.
  • Now click on the ‘New Registration Link’ for the counselling portal.
  • Register yourself by filling in details of preferred colleges and branch.
  • Fill in the choices and pay the counselling fees. Now submit the details.
  • Selected candidates will be notified for document verification and other admission processes by the allotment letter.

Step 2.

In the second round of counselling, candidates will be called for the vacant seats after the first counselling process.

Candidates who are not satisfied with the seat allotted in the first counselling, can fill an ‘Upgradation Form’ for the next round.  Seats will be allotted to those candidates who meet all the requirements of the Board.

Step 3.

The board will conduct the third counselling as per the requirement process. Spot counselling will be implemented for the left-out candidates who can come and get admission after fulfilling all the required processes.

Provisional Allotment Letter

After the choice filling of centres, candidates who have the allotted seats can download the Provisional Allotment Letter from the counselling portal. Candidates have to report for document verification at the scheduled time, centre and date as mentioned in the provisional letter.
