COMEDK Undergraduate Entrance Test 2020 is a State-level Entrance exam conducted by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka for students seeking admission to B.Tech degree and Architecture courses in various engineering colleges located in Karnataka. Candidates may apply for admission in Architecture courses based on NATA Scores as well.

Updates on Application Form
- The Application form is made available from 16th January 2020 and can be filled through online mode only up to 17th April 2020.
- The application form needs to be filled carefully and correctly.
- If there are mistakes in filling up the form, candidates can make corrections in the form from 18th to 20th April 2020.
- After filling all details, candidates are required to upload documents such as photograph and signature, unique ID, proof, parent’s signature, etc in the specified format.
- Upload the photograph and signature in JPEG/ JPG format with the image size of 80 KB and ID proof size should be minimum 150 KB.
- There is no need to send any hardcopy of the document by post or mail to the authority.
- A print out of the filled application form may be taken and kept safely till the completion of admission procedure..
Application Fee
- Application fee is required to be submitted through online mode.
- Candidates can pay their application fee using debit card/ credit card or through net banking.
- Application fee is Rs.1600 (convenience charge/ fee as applicable).
Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Courses
The applicants should have passed second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognized by State / Central Government with the last two years of study comprising Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject.
- The General Category students should have obtained at least a total of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics). They also should have passed these subjects individually. The candidates should have opted for both Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects apart from Chemistry or Bio-Technology or Biology or any other technical vocational courses as one of the optional subjects. However, changes, if any, in the eligibility criteria by the AICTE will be adopted by the authorities.
- Diploma candidates are not eligible to appear in the Entrance Test as there are no lateral
- Eligibility Criteria for Architectural Courses
- For admission to B.Arch, the candidates should have passed s second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects along with other subjects or a Diploma after 3 years of study following 10th Standard Exam. recognized by Central/State Government. The candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% in the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka.
- The candidates should have appeared for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture with a valid NATA 2020 score.
- Important: Architecture students need not take the COMEDK 2020 Entrance Exam.

HOW TO FILL AND COMPLETE YOUR APPLICATION FORM?
- Register for COMEDK: Visit the official website. Click on “Click here for Registration”. Fill in details for the registration like Name of the applicant, DOB, Unique photo ID proof, Photo ID proof number, Email ID and Mobile Number. Enter Security Code and click on ‘submit’ button.
- A new window will open showing the entered registration details.
- After reading carefully all the entered details, Click on the “Print” button if needed.
- Click on the “Logout” button for submitting the entries.
- For the Applicant to Log in: Log on to the email ID which candidates have entered at the time of filling the entry page.
- Open the mail related to “COMEDK UGET” as it will consist the User ID, Password.
- Enter your USER ID and Password here.
- Click on the “Login” button.
- Click on ‘Go to application form.’ Select exam that you are applying for.
- Enter your personal details.
- Fill in category details by clicking on ‘Choose your Belong to category’ (By birth/domicile), category and minority status.
- Enter the academic details such as the qualifying exam, board, etc.
- Upload documents, photograph and signatures in prescribed format and size as mentioned in the information brochure. The mage should be passport size with minimum size of 30mm x 45mm with not less than 80 KB and of JPG/JPEG format. The photograph should show a full face view looking into the camera directly.
- The Candidate should upload his/her signature after signing in a white paper with a black pen.
- Image should be passport size with minimum size of 35mm x 80mm with not less than 80 KB and of JPG/JPEG format.
- For uploading signature of Parent/Guardian, he/she should sign in a white paper with black/blue pen.
- Upload Declaration by clicking on “Click to upload Declaration” to upload image
- A confirmation message mentioning “Declaration uploaded successfully”will appear.
- Fill in examination city preferences with three choices.
- Now, submit the declaration.
- Enter your payment mode and the payment amount. Candidates can pay through net banking, debit/credit card.
- Enter security code and tick all the check box that “I Agree”.
- Preview your filled Application.
- Click on submit and confirm your application.
- A print out of the application may be taken for reference.
General Instructions for Registration
- All the details asked for in Registration /Application form are required to be entered.
- E-mail ID and mobile number should not be altered till the whole admission process is done.
- Details given in the application form at the time of registration cannot be changed.
- All the details entered at time of registration may be reviewed before CLICKING ON SUBMIT BUTTON and proceeding to the application form.
- After successful registration, the User id and Password will be received on your Mobile Number and Email Id which is unique & system generated.
- Next step is to log in with the unique USER ID and PASSWORD received to complete the application process. Press the “Go to Application” button (Right hand top corner) to be directed to the Application Form.
- Internet Explorer (version 10 and above) or Mozilla Firefox (52 and above) or Google Chrome (58 and above) may be used to fill in the Application Form.
- Your browsing history and cache may be cleared before retrying in case you are facing any technical issue in viewing the details in application form.
General instructions for filling the application online
- Once the application form is submitted online, request for changing the data entered in the application form will NOT be entertained.
- The candidates have to be careful to avoid mistakes while filling the online Application Form.
- Ensure that Online Application Form is filled properly with complete details.
- Using the “PREVIEW” button re-verify all the particulars in application form before clicking on SUBMIT button.
- Incomplete /incorrect applications are likely to be rejected without informing the candidate.
- Multiple application forms from the same candidate will result in disqualification of the candidate.
REJECTED APPLICATIONS
- Applications without any of the requisite documents/ information will be summarily rejected; they will not be considered for processing.
- Applications with incomplete/incorrect details are likely to be rejected.
- The candidates whose applications are rejected for any reason, but wish to reapply can fill up a new application online and submit it by making fresh payment before the last date.
- They need to register again with a new Email ID, fill Online Application Form and submit the same online before the closing day of submission of online application form.
- Candidates will not be advised individually if their applications are rejected, though the reasons for rejections would be hosted on the website of COMEDK.
- Hence the candidates should doubly check that their application form is complete before submission.
- The candidates may check the website regularly for regular updates.
ONLINE TEST ADMISSION TICKET & RELATED DETAILS
- Online Test Admission Ticket can be obtained from 01/05/2020 under the applicant login of the COMEDK website.
- Online Test Admission Ticket (Online TAT) should be downloaded by the candidates appearing for the Test and obtain printout. Test Admission Ticket (TAT) will not be sent by email or post or courier or in person to the candidates.
- The print out of Test Admission Ticket and other documents indicated thereon are essential to be brought to the exam hall to write the COMEDK UGET -2020. Candidates are required to retain the TAT for counselling and until the completion of the Admission process.
- Candidates are required to ensure that the invigilator of their centre signs the test admission ticket.
- Candidates are study the below mentioned instructions carefully after printing the Online Test Admission Ticket (TAT). After taking the printout of Online Test Admission Ticket, the candidates are cautioned to check the following details:
- Test Admission Ticket number (TAT number)
- Candidate’s Name (as mentioned in the application form).
- Candidate’s address and contact details (as mentioned in the application form).
- Photo of the Candidate (as given in the application form).
- Test centre details.
- Test Timings, ID Proof Details, Provision for Sticking Passport size photograph (box)
- General Instructions on TAT.
- The candidates are advised to read the instructions printed in the TAT carefully before appearing for the TEST.
- Facility for Printing Online Test Admission Ticket will be disabled on 9thMay 2020 midnight.
- Hence the candidates must download the TAT one day before the exam and preserve the printed Online TAT until the admission process is completed. The COMEDK UGET 2020 INFORMATION BROCHURE containing the details was notified on 13th Jan 2020.
- The candidates must ensure that the Test Admission Ticket is not mutilated or laminated or changed any entry made therein after it has been authenticated & received by them. Impersonation is a legally punishable offence.
- The Test Admission Ticket is an important document and it must be preserved and produced at the time of Counselling /Admission.
Instructions for Candidates
- The examination hall will be opened only 60 minutes prior to the start of the exam. Also Candidates will not be permitted to enter the examination hall after 9.30 AM under any circumstances
- Candidates are required to show their online TAT & valid photo ID proof in original.

- They should not bring any textual material, printed or written, bits of papers, any electronic gadgets.
- It is essential to bring 2 recent (not older than three months) passport size colour photograph (the same which was uploaded to the application). The candidate’s name, & TAT number should be mentioned at the back of the photograph,

COMEDK 2020 EXAM GUIDELINES
All candidates should appear at their respective exam centres at least an hour or 60 minutes before to avoid any last-minute problems. Documents/items necessary for the Exam Day:
- A pencil and a sheet of paper for doing the rough work.
- No extra text materials, log tables, calculators, electronic watches, mobile phones and others will be allowed in the exam hall.
- A Printout of the COMEDK Admit Card.
- Original as well as a scanned copy of the identity proof.
- Two recent size photographs.
- Scanned copy of the school/college photo ID attested by the principal of the institution. (i.e. 2nd PUC / 12th Standard).
- A scanned copy of the COMEDK Application Form.
COMEDK UGET 2020 Syllabus
- COMEDK Karnataka has prescribed the syllabus for COMEDK UGET 2020. The complete section wise syllabus details can be perused by the candidates from the website.
- The COMEDK UGET Syllabus will include topics from the subjects of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry of 10+2 level/2nd PUC.
FAQ’s of COMEDK 2020
- COMEDK 2020 is scheduled to be held on 10thMay 2020.
- The exam is open to all eligible applicants across India.
- COMEDK mock tests will be conducted by the Consortium on the official website from 5th February 2020. Before the exam is held, COMEDK will release six mock tests to gain adaptability to time limits and question types before he/she appears for the real exam.
- The candidates can take the mock test by using their login credentials registered before.
- The eligibility criteria for the COMEDK exam are as per the norms of AICTE.
- BArch Courses are not based on COMEDK written exams. Interested candidates of BArch must have appeared for NATA before applying for counselling of COMEDK.

COMEDK UGET 2020 Answer Key
The Board will publish the Provisional Answer key on the website, expected to be released on 14th May 2020. Candidates can calculate their marks using the answer key to work out their chances of qualification.
The provisional answer key can be challenged if there is any discrepancy. The Board will publish the final answer key on 22nd May 2020.
COMEDK UGET 2020 Result
COMEDK UGET 2020 Result is expected to be released on 26th May 2020 and the candidates can download their scorecard/rank card from the website. The rank card will mention various details like candidate name, date of birth, registration number, roll number, test score, rank and qualifying status etc.
To check the result and download the score card, candidates are required to enter their user id & password. Along with the result announcement, merit list will be also released short listing the candidates for counselling process.
COMEDK UGET 2020 Counselling
Only those candidates included in the merit list will be called for the counselling process. The counselling will be held in offline mode in June 2020.
The Schedule and Procedure of counselling will be indicated in the website. The Counselling process comprises Registration and Counselling fee payment, Option Entry and locking, Mock Allotment, Seat Allotment and Document Verification. All the required documents must carried on the day of counselling for verification.
