KMAT Karnataka 2020 will be conducted by Karnataka Private Post Graduate College Association (KPPGCA) as a state level entrance test held once a year. This entrance exam offers admission to candidates seeking seats for MBA, PGDMA and MCA courses.

Admissions to test the candidates’ efficiency, swill be given to qualifying candidates in several colleges/institutions in the State of Karnataka and Bangalore. A few important dates that all applicants must be aware of:

KMAT Karnataka 2020 Application Form is available online to the candidates. All applicants must go through the KMAT Karnataka 2020 guidelines in the application form before applying to KMAT Karnataka 2020. The application forms will be available for candidates to fill from fourth week of May 2020.

The last date for submission of application form without late fee is second week of July 2020. All valid details like email id and phone number should be filled in correctly. Candidates watch out, as the authority will not accept incomplete or incorrect application forms online.

It is requested to upload the scanned passport and signature with the dimensions as prescribed in the application form guidelines.

The selection of test centre along with city details must be selected by the candidate in the online application form.

KMAT Karnataka 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must go through the eligibility criteria needed for applying to the selected course exam. Aspiring candidates for MBA/PGDMA courses must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from a recognized University or Board.

The General category candidates must score 50% marks as the minimum for the qualification criteria and 45% marks in the reserved criteria.

The qualified candidates must have attained master’s degree in management, commerce, engineering, arts, social science or equivalent subjects in the qualifying exam. Those applicants appearing in the final year can also apply.

MCA course aspirants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized Board/University. Mathematics is a mandatory subject in the 12th standard or in Bachelor’s degree obtained. A minimum score of 50% marks is needed in the qualifying exam.

Application Process for KMAT Karnataka 2020 Application Form

Visit the official website of KMAT Karnataka 2020. Press the generated link on the Home Page. Fill in the required details like name, date of birth, gender, email id and mobile number. Later, fill up the academic and qualifying details correctly.

Now take special care while uploading the scanned photo and signature along with the supporting documents.

Now submit the Application Fee. All applicants will receive a unique user id upon making his/her payment to their registered email id. Re-check and verify all the details.

KMAT Karnataka 2020 Admit Card

KMAT Karnataka Admit card is scheduled to be released online. The KMAT Karnataka Admit card will be released in the Third week of July 2020.  The admit card will be available 2-3 weeks prior to the examination date.  The entrance exam will be held in the fourth week of July 2020.

All applicants need to enter their login details at the time of registration to download the admit card. Communications for intimation of the Admit Card will be only through online and nit by any other offline modes.

KMAT Karnataka 2020 Exam Pattern

Candidates can check their KMAT Karnataka entrance exam pattern by the following steps:

The entrance exam will be held offline. The question paper is of 2 hours duration. The question paper is in multiple choice question format.

There are three sections in the question paper framed. A total of 120 questions will be asked in the examination. 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and no negative marking is executed.

KMAT Karnataka Entrance exam contains topics from Mathematics, English and Logical Reasoning. The complete syllabus for the KMAT Karnataka entrance exam is as explained below:

Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension:

Sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, comprehension on passages etc. there would be questions on understanding of the contents of the passages and choice of appropriate words, English language ability will be tested through questions on grammar, expressions and similar language skills, vocabulary, phrases. This includes the passage with questions based on their contents to test comprehension, etc.

Logical and Abstract Reasoning:

This section may have questions in sets based on verbal reasoning, analogy, etc.

Quantitative Ability:

This section includes questions like to know how fast and accurate you can work with numbers, do numerical calculations, percentage, interest, time and speed etc. Apart from arithmetic, understand various arithmetic problems involving ratio and proportion, the questions may also be based on algebra, geometry, trigonometry and parts of Mathematics. This test measures the candidate’s power of quantitative aptitude, common graphs, interpretation of tables and charts.

KMAT Karnataka 2020 Results

KMAT Karnataka 2020 Results will be published online on the official website. Candidates can check their KMAT Karnataka 2020 Results by entering their date of birth and application number.

The Results/Scorecard released by the KMAT Karnataka Authorities contain the overall percentile along with section wise scores of the candidate.  The participating institutions will announce their list for shortlisting candidates after the results declared by the KMAT Karnataka authority.

KMAT Karnataka 2020 Admission

The list for selected candidates will be published by the participating institutes across Bangalore and Karnataka State. There is no centralized KMT Karnataka 2020 Counselling for the admission process. There will be separate counselling sessions by different institutions.

Selected candidates will be called for counselling for Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds. The candidates need to produce their supporting documents at the verification centre for verification process. They need to bring the following at the time of verification:

Candidates who meet the KMAT Karnataka cut off marks will be called for the counselling process. The participating institutes publish the KMAT Karnataka cut off marks in their final merit list based on the scores achieved by the candidate in the entrance exam.

Successful applicants who fail to participate in the first round of the counselling process automatically gets rejected for further rounds.
