KMAT entrance exam is conducted by Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) and supervised by Admission Supervisory Committee & Fee Regulatory Committee. KMAT is a state-level entrance exam that is held in the State of Kerala for students seeking admission to various management programmes.

KMAT Kerala 2020 Application Form
Candidates must go through the KMAT Kerala 2020 Application Forms before applying:
KMAT Kerala Application Forms can be filled online.
The online application for the session II exam will be notified soon.
The applicants need to send their working email address and mobile number as all details will be intimated via SMS.
Three preferences for the test centre are offered for the candidate while filling the application form.
They have to upload scanned copies if their photo and signature along with the supporting documents.
No corrections are permitted after submission of the application form. Hence, the applicants must fill all details correctly.
The registration process had started on 16th August 2019 for the first session.
An application fee of Rs.1000/- for General Candidates and Rs.750/- for SC/ST Candidates needs to be paid online. The payment can be done using Debit card/Credit card or even Net-banking. Application fees is non-refundable.
KMAT Kerala Registration Process
Application Forms are filled online and no other mediums are entertained. Online application will begin from 1st February 2020 for Session II exam. All basic details including academic and personal should be filled in carefully.
Applicants must choose their exam centre preference while filling the application form. All photos and signature must be scanned and uploaded in the prescribed format. No corrections will be entertained after the last date of the Application form.
The application form for the First session can be filled on 16th August 2019. Filling of the Application forms will begin from second week of March 2020. Take necessary printouts for admission procedures.
KMAT Kerala 2020 Application Form Filling Up
It is requested by the
candidate to visit the official link of KMT Kerala. Click on Registration link
provided. Fill up all mandatory details like email address, mobile number, etc.
Enter by using the Login id and password. Again, fill in the fields of academic
and personal details. Later, click on Submit button. Next pay the application
form fee online.
Select the payment mode and pay accordingly via Debit card/Credit card or even Net-banking. Upload your scanned photo and signature in the dimensions mentioned. Now, choose the exam centre and verify all details. Click on Submit button. Take printouts and keep the application form until the admission process is completed.
KMAT Kerala 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must refer and be aware of the eligibility criteria for the same. Only Indian citizens can apply. The candidate must be from the State of Kerala. The applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized State of Kerala/University.
General applicants must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying exam and 40% marks for SC/ST candidates. Applicants who are in their final year of graduation or waiting for their results can also apply.
Candidates who have a valid scorecard of CMAT & CAT are eligible. No age limit has been specified for the KMAT Kerala Entrance examination.
KMAT Kerala 2020 Exam Pattern
KMT Kerala 2020 Exam is held offline. Questions are in objective mode. The question paper is laid out in English language. There will be 4 sections in the question paper set. The exam is of 2hours and 30 minutes duration.
A total of 180 questions are available in the question paper. Every correct answer carries 4 marks and 1 mark is deducted for every wrong answer. A brief distribution of questions framed are as under:

KMAT Kerala 2020 Syllabus
Questions of Syllabus of KMAT Kerala include English Language Usage and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Data sufficiency & Logical Reasoning and General Knowledge & Contemporary Business Scenario.
For Section 1 (English Language Usage and Reading Comprehension), Candidates must concentrate on Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Word Usage, Fill in the Blanks and much more.
For Section 2 (Quantitative Aptitude), candidates must study HCF & LCM, Algebra, Quadratic Equation, Functions, Trigonometric Ratios, Height & Distance and much more.
For Section 3 (Data sufficiency & Logical Reasoning), candidates have to study topics like Bar Graph, Line Graph, Data Arrangements, Statements and etc.
For section 4 (General Knowledge), candidates must revise through topics such as Business, Sports, Culture, Economics, etc.
KMAT Kerala 2020 Admit Card
KMAT Kerala Admit card is an important document of the applicant(s). All applicants must carry their Admit Card along with their valid identity proof. Candidates, note, they will not be allowed for appearing in the exam without these documents. The Hall Ticket/Admit Card has been released two weeks prior to the KMAT Entrance exam.
The Admit card should contain vital information like name f the candidate, exam centre, exam timing, exam date, email address, contact number and other informational guidelines.

Enter your login credentials like SB Collect Reference Number and Password. Your admit card will appear on the screen. Keep printouts and use it later for the counselling process.
KMAT Instructions for the Exam Day
- Candidates should reach the examination centre on time and on the date given in the admit card.
- Students should carry their admit card and a valid id proof with them.
- Candidates should not carry any restricted item on the exam day. The authority will not be responsible for keeping any valuable with them.
- Devices like Mobile phones, calculators, smart or digital watches and other valuable items are not allowed inside the examination hall.

KMAT Kerala 2020 Counselling/GD & PI Rounds are conducted for qualified candidates after the declaration of results & release of cut off marks. Complete GD & PI interview schedule and process varies from different institution to institution.
Qualified candidates can make it to the selection process of college/institution during the counselling process. At the time of counselling, candidates must carry their all the required document for document verification process.

All shortlisted candidates will be able to participate in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds once they qualify the written entrance test. The weightage assigned for the entrance test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview round are 80:10:10.
Seat Allotment procedure is executed after the GD and PI rounds. The seats will be allotted to the applicant based on the scores, availability of seats in the institution, merit orders, etc.
