BSc. Nuclear Medicine Technology: Duration

            Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology or B.Sc. Nuclear Medicine Technology is an undergraduate (UG) level course program which introduces students to the fundamentals of nuclear medicine sciences. It is a 3 years course program which is divided into 6 semesters. Every semester lasts for the period of 6 months. The minimum duration is 3 years and the maximum duration is 6 years for Distance learning.

BSc. Nuclear Medicine Technology: Eligibility Criteria

A nuclear medicine technologist is a highly rich and specialized profession with the main focus on how the body functions in order to help in the diagnosis and treatment of a huge range of diseases. They will prepare and administer less amounts of radioactive substances known as Radiopharmaceuticals included with other medications and treatments.

The basic eligibility criteria to study a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology are given below:

  • The students who are willing should have successfully cleared the 10+2 examinations in physics, chemistry, biology, and English with Biology or Mathematics as optional subjects with at least 45% to 50% score of marks and should have passed out from the recognized institution or board.

The Master of Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology is a 2-year full-time course program and the basic eligibility criteria to study a Master of Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
