What is BSc. Physical Education?
B.Sc. in Physical Education, Health Education is a 3-year undergraduate (UG) level course program in physical education. The course has been designed and developed to encourage psychomotor learning in a game based setting system.
The major components of study that lie within the course program involves cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and body composition. The course main aim is to to familiarize students with scientific methods and skills employed in the examination of physical activity and exercise.
A career in physical education can lead you to a wide and broad range of career options, from a part of the choosing a sport, health clubs, sports goods manufacturer, marketing, commentator, journalism, trainer, and many other related career options. BSc. Physical Education: Duration
Bachelor of Science in Physical Education or B.Sc. Physical Education is an undergraduate (UG) level course program which introduces students to the fundamentals of physical activities. It is a 3 years course program which is divided into 6 semesters. Every semester lasts for the period of 6 months. The minimum duration is 3 years
BSc. Physical Education: Eligibility Criteria
Given below are the minimum eligibility criteria in which students are interested in studying the course are required to fulfill, in order to be eligible to apply for the course:
- Successful completion of the 10+2 level of education in the Science stream, from a recognized university or college.
- A minimum aggregate marks should be of 50% (45% for SC/ST students) at the 10+2 level.
- 5% seats are usually reserved (may vary from institute to institute) for candidates who have studied and scored more than 60% marks in Physical Education at the Senior Secondary level of examination.
