Lovely Professional University National Eligibility & Scholarship Test is an Entrance Test held by Lovely Professional University every year to admit qualified candidates in their choice of selected courses.
LPU NEST 2020 is a private university located in Jalandhar, Punjab. LPU NEST 2020 is conducted by Lovely Professional University of Punjab (LPU University of Punjab).
A few major courses offered by LPU are Engineering, Agriculture, Design, Law, Hotel Management and MBA. The prime LPU conducts online exams for each of these courses separately. This Entrance exam is a twofold advantage to candidates as it’s an entrance test combined with Scholarship Test.
The University conducts university-level exams for those interested applicants in 14 disciplines of Engineering. The Entrance Exam is conducted twice in the months of January and April.

LPU NEST Application Form Details
- Students can fetch the Application form for LPU NEST 2020 for Schedule – II from 16th January 2020.
- 31st March 2020 is the last date to apply for Schedule II applications.
- Candidates can fill the application form via online or offline mode.
- For offline mode, candidates need to obtain LPUNEST Kit from University Campus or from any other prescribed place by paying cash.
- Candidates can register themselves on the website online.
- The complete application process includes steps such as – Registration, Filling of basic details, uploading of photograph and signature and payment of fee.
- Candidates will be able to generate their application number and password for subsequent logins after successful registration.
- At the time of filling the application form, candidates are required to fill the exam centre preference and book the slot for online exam and get the admit card.

LPU NEST 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are requested to check their eligibility criteria before applying for the LPU NEST 2020 Entrance Examinations. Please find the criteria as listed below:
- All applicants must be an Indian Citizen.
- Candidates applying for B. Tech Programs should have passed their 12th Standard from a recognized Board or University from India.
- The candidates applying for the B. Tech program must have secured 60% aggregate in their 10+2 standards.
- The candidate needs to have passed their 12th Standard with Physics, Maths and English as their major subjects.
- All M. Tech Candidates must have passed their Bachelor’s degree like B.E., B. Tech, or B. Arch and B. Plan or its equivalent from a recognized university or board in India.
- MBA students must have passed their Bachelor’s Degree from any discipline or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University across India.
- Apart from the degree, they must have 55% aggregate in the degree obtained.
- CAT or XAT or MAT or CMAT or NMAT and Interview OR Completed Company Secretary (CS), CA & CMA qualified candidates can also apply.
LPU NEST 2020 EXAM PATTERN
All entrance exams of LPU NEST 2020 will be conducted online. The total time allotted to all applicants for the exam is150 minutes.
There will be 100 Multiple Choice Questions and 150 question series in B. Tech. All answers marked correct would fetch 4 marks and there is no negative marking for this exam.

- Class 10th and 12th marksheets.

How to Get the Application Form?
The candidates can obtain the Application Form in 3 ways:
- Either Online at lpu.in Or
- Online Filling of the Application Form to be sent by post or DD to LPU in Punjab. Or
- From the University by paying of the amount in cash as prescribed.

Filling the Application Process in Detail
Step 1 is Registration. Click on the link of the respective courses you wish to apply.
Now register online by providing details such as Email address, Name, State, Mobile Number, etc.
Next Click on the Register Now button to submit the details.
An OTP (One Time Password) will be sent to your registered mobile number during the registration process.
Enter the OTP and Click on the OK button to proceed to the next step.
Register Online by entering all details like name, address, email address, date of birth and mobile number.
Step 2 is the Payment Process. After the registration process, all candidates need to pay the requested amount as the application fees. The application fees can be paid using your Debit Card/Credit Card or through Net-Banking.
Step 3 is the Online filling process. Enter all the details correctly for the review of the Application Form.
Step 4 is the Upload of Photo and Signature. Please ensure that your photo meets the prescribed dimensions and a valid signature before due submission.
Step 5 is the Submission of the Application Form. Upon completion of the registration and upload of the required photo and proper signature, and entering of supporting documents you can click on the Submit button in the Application Form.
The submission is made online therefore, you can download this application form for future use.
Corrections/Editing in the Application Form
Please note that the application form once submitted cannot be edited again. The LPU NEST Application Form does not allow any changes to the application form submitted.
The candidates can check their Application Form Status once submitted by using their entered email address and password.
The Dashboard of the Application Form shows the current status of the candidates who have submitted their Application Form for the LPU NEST 2020 exam.

LPU NEST 2020 Syllabus
All aspiring candidates for Engineering and other courses can check their syllabus for the LPU NEST 2020 online. The candidates can prepare for undergraduate courses of the entrance test syllabus that they have studied in the 12th class. For Post graduate students, the test syllabus would contain topics from the graduation level.

LPU NEST Slot Booking
After the registration process, the slot booking for LPU NEST 2020 begins. Slot booking of LPU NEST 2020 for Schedule II will begin from 1st March 2020.
Candidates must select the examination time and date. The slot will be allotted on a first come first serve basis.
It is vital for the candidates to complete the slot booking process in order to generate their admit card. The university reserves the right to book slot as per availability of the test centres.
LPU NEST 2020 Admit Card
LPU NEST 2020 Admit card are available from 1st March 2020. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards through online mode. The details printed on the admit card will contain candidate’s roll number, registration id, exam date, exam time, venue, etc.
It is essential for all the candidates to verify all the details on the LPU NEST 2020 admit card. If there are errors in the details printed on the admit card, students must contact the concerned officials regarding the problem.
LPU NEST 2020 Results
The Result of LPU NEST 2020 for several programs will be published online on 31st January 2020 for Schedule-I.
Candidates result and scorecard by entering their login credentials – Email id and password. By a scorecard, the candidate will be able to know the marks obtained, rank and the result status. In addition, the University will publish a rank list, short listing the candidates for counselling process.
LPU NEST 2020 Cut-Off’s
Cut Off marks of the LPU NEST 2020 is the minimum marks a candidate must score in the entrance test to be eligible for the admission into the University. Also, the scholarship will be awarded to the students who will score more than or equal to the cut-off marks.
The minimum cut off marks set by the university is based on various factors and reservation criteria. Shortlisted candidates who achieve the cut off marks will be called for counselling process.
LPU NEST 2020 Counselling
Once the results are published, the university will start the counselling process. The counselling will be organized online in the first week of 30th April 2020.
Candidates can participate in the counselling on the basis of marks achieved in the entrance examination and interview rounds.
Candidates have to download the counselling letter and attend the allotted counselling venue before the last date. Documents verification and seat allocation will also be done during counselling.
