What is BSc. Visual Communication?

        B.Sc. in Visual Communication is a 3-year undergraduate (UG) level course program, the minimum eligibility criteria for admission is the successful completion of the Higher Secondary Examination and  (10+2) qualification from a recognized educational board, with a minimum aggregate marks of 50%.Preferably, Electronics Media would be one of the major subjects at the 10+2 level. The program duration is over 3 years, divided into 6 semesters where each semester lasts for the period of 6 months each.

Visual communication is also known as (Viscom) it is a communication through a visual aid and is described as the conveyance of ideas and information in forms that one can be read or looked upon. Visual communication in part or whole depends upon vision, and is primarily presented or expressed with two dimensional images. It involves signs, drawing, graphic design, structure, industrial design, advertising, animation colour and electronic resources. It also provides the idea that a visual communicates accompanying text has a greater power to provide educate, or persuade a person or group of people.

Visual communication is characterized out through visual aids. The evaluation of a best visual communication design is mainly related on measuring by the audience, not only on personal aesthetic or by the artistic preference as there are no universally agreed-upon principles of more beauty and ugliness. Though there are two dimensional images, there are other ways to express information visually gestures and body language, animation and film. Visual communication by e-mail, it is a textual medium, which is commonly expressed with ASCII art, or emoticons, and digital images as such.

BSc. Visual Communication: Duration

Duration of B.Sc.
