Madhya Pradesh Pre-Agriculture Test or MP PAT is conducted once in every year. It is a state-level exam also referred to as MP Vypam. The entrance exam provides admission to courses in BSc. B. Tech, B.Sc Forestry and B.Sc Horticulture.
MP PAT 2020 Application Form
The MP PAT application form is released online. They can fill the application form in third week of March 2020. The last date to submit the application forms is in April 2020. Corrections can be done in the third week of March 2020.
The applicant must get their personal details verified otherwise their candidature will stand cancelled. The applicant must upload their scanned photo, signature and thumb impression along with other supporting certificates. Note down the application number as needed for further login attempts.
The application form fee for general is Rs. 500/-. And Rs.250/- for SC/ST candidates. Other additional charges are applicable. The application fee can be paid online using debit card/credit card/net-banking.

MP PAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria
BSc. Agriculture candidates have to pass his/her 10+2 from a recognized Board. They must have Physics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects in 10+2 along with any one subject of Agriculture, Forestry, Biology or Mathematics. Appearing candidates of 10+2 can also apply.
BSc. Forestry aspirants have to pass their 10+2 exams from a recognized Board. They must have Physics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects in 10+2 along with any one subject of Agriculture, Forestry, Biology or Mathematics. They must pass a physical fitness test conducted by the authority. Appearing candidates of 10+2 can also apply.
BSc. Horticulture course applicants must pass his/her 10+2 from a recognized Board. They must have Physics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects in 10+2 along with any one subject of Agriculture, Forestry, Biology or Mathematics. Appearing candidates of 10+2 can also apply.
BSc. Agriculture Engineering aspirants must pass his/her 10+2 from a recognized Board. They must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and English as mandatory subjects. Appearing candidates of 10+2 can also apply.
MP PAT 2020 Exam Pattern
Students appearing for MP PAT must get a feel of the exam pattern. The MP PAT exam is conducted offline in two sessions. The question paper is set in two languages namely Hindi and English. The question paper contains 200 multiple choice questions in total. The allotted time to complete is 3 hours. The break down is as shown below:

MP PAT 2020 Admit Card
The MP PAT admit card will be released in the third week of May 2020. You can download your admit card by following: Visit the official website. A new page opens on the screen. Enter all details like application number and Date of Birth. Click the search button. The Admit card is shown on your screen.
Instructions for the candidates
The candidates have to reach the exam hall at least 1 hour and 30 minutes before the exam begins.
They should go through the biometric process before sitting for the exam.
No type of electronic devices like mobile phones, calculators, electrical watches are allowed inside the exam hall.
Candidates have to sign using a black ball point pen on the admit card.

MP PAT 2020 Cut Off & Counselling
Seats are allotted based on the reservation criteria. After the results of MP Pat are declared, the MP PAT Cut off marks are prepared. The cut off marks are the minimum marks needed by a candidate to qualify for the exam.
The cut off marks will be published on the website of the University. The cut off marks here are released course wise. Only those candidates who clear the qualifying exam are called for counselling. Separate merit lists are prepared for each course.

MP PAT Counselling is conducted through various rounds. Seats are allocated based on the marks scored, candidates rank and qualifying in the merit list.
MP PAT 2020 Preparation Tips
The candidates must learn to manage their time. They should allot equal time to each subject. If you plan a time table, then follow it according to the order as mentioned. Do not skip any portion of the subjects listed or allotted in the time table. Give extra time by planning how to improve your weak areas or topics.
Study topic wise to keep with up to date information. Focus more on your study topics and put in hard-work to attain your goal. Try to study topic wise and look for short cuts wherever possible to solve the questions. Learn and master the shortcuts wherever applicable to save time.
Revising and practicing on subjects is an important part of the preparation. The more you practice, the more are your chances of clearing. Study and practice regularly. Revising things makes you remember what you have learnt and memorized. Make short notes and go through them as part of the revision process.
Prepare notes in short to summarize what you learnt. Write down formulae and practice them. Keep reference books handy along with your syllabus. Study for at least 5-6 hours daily to master the topics of the syllabus. Study according to the exam pattern and syllabus.
The candidates should be aware of the marking schemes. The marking schemes help you develop a marking goal to achieve. It will help you achieve good marks and patterns in the given time limit.
Eat healthy and avoid any kind of stressful activities. Keep your mind fresh and cool. Take a proper sleep and try waking up early to study.
