UKSEE is an Entrance Examination conducted by the Uttarakhand Technical University. It is a state-level test often conducted for students aspiring for admissions to courses such as B. Tech (LE), M. Tech, B. Pharm, BHMCT, BCA, MCA, MBA and M. Pharma courses. The entrance exam is conducted only once in a year.

UKSEE Application Form Availability

Interested candidates can refer for the application form on the website as required. The form guidelines are as under:

  • Candidates can fill their application form online.
  • For filling the online form, candidates will need to register themselves on the website.
  • After the registration, candidates can fill their personal and educational details in the application form.
  • After that, candidates are required to upload their recent photograph with a light background.
  • Candidates must take print out of the application form for further process of admission.
  • Candidates must submit the application form before the last date, i.e. fourth week of April 2020. 

Application Form Fees

  • Applicants will need to pay Rs.1500/- for General and OBC category. While for SC/ST candidates, the fee will be Rs.750/.
  • Application Fee can be paid via online using debit/credit card or via net banking.
  • Application Fee will be non-refundable

Application Form Submitting Steps

The UKSEE 2020 Application Form can be filled and submitted online. All application forms will be released from 2nd Week of April 2020. 

The Application form can be filled up to May 2020 online. Printouts of the candidate application form must be taken for the future.

No Application forms will be provided offline. Application Form fee for reserved category is Rs. 750/- and Rs.1500/- for the General and OBC categories. 

Whereas for SC/ST candidates the fee is Rs.750/- only. The application fee can be paid online using debit/credit card or via net banking.

Filling of the Application Form

Interested students can get to know more about the Application Fees below:

  • Visit to the official website.
  • Browse the link “Apply for UKSEE 2020”.
  • Enter your email Id & mobile number for registration.
  • A new registration id is created for the candidates after successful registration.
  • Login using the generated “Registration ID”, “Date of Birth” & “Password”.
  • Enter your basic details and academic details.
  • Re-check the filled entries/information before submitting.
  • Forms submitted cannot be edited for corrections by the candidates.
  • Click on the “Save” button. 
  • Scanned photos in JPEG format must be uploaded by the candidates on the website provided.
  • Take note of the Photograph size, which should be 35 X 45 mm with at least 75% coverage of face & head of the candidate. 
  • The Scanned photo should include Name of the candidate & Photograph with the taking date printed at the bottom of the photograph.
  • Photograph background should be white/light coloured. 
  • Submit the application fee through online mode.
  • Application Fee once paid is non-refundable.
  • Keep a print copy of the filled application form for further reference. 

Examination dates can now be checked on the official website without delay for applying to the UKSEE 2020 entrance exam. The dates are as shown below:

UKSEE 2020 Exam Schedule

UKSEE 2020 has released its new application form online. All applicants can fill the application forms up to second week of April 2020.

Last date for filling and submission of the application form falls in the fourth week of April 2020. The Admit Card for UKSEE entrance exam is ready for download from the first week of May 2020. The entrance exam will follow in the second week of May 2020.

Results of UKSEE will be announced a few days after the exam date. The Results will be announced in the fourth week of June 2020. Selected and qualified candidates will be called for counselling.

Cut off marks will be declared after the results are out.  Counselling will be online for UKSEE entrance students. The counselling will be held in two rounds. The first round begins from first week of July 2020.

UKSEE Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must go through UKSEE 2020 eligibility criteria:

For B. Pharma Courses:

  • Candidates must pass 12th standard from any recognized board.
  • Candidates must secure a minimum of 45% marks in General category and 40% marks for reserved category in their qualifying examination.
  • Candidates should pass physics, chemistry and any one subject from biology/ biotechnology, etc.

For MBA Courses:

  • Candidates must obtain a Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university/ institute.
  • Candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks in their qualifying examination. Reserved category candidates should be able to secure 45% marks to qualify.

UKSEE Exam Pattern

  • The Entrance Exam for UKSEE 2020 is conducted at various centres in the State of Uttarakhand in the second week of May 2020.
  • Candidates can attend the exam online and offline.
  • Questions will be of objective type.
  • Each answer marked right carries One mark.
  •  The exam has No negative marking.
  • Candidates can use black/blue ball point pen to mark their answer.
  • Question paper is compiled in two languages i.e. Hindi and English.

UKSEE 2020 Syllabus

UKSEE Syllabus contains questions asked in the entrance exam depending on the courses opted by the candidates. All syllabus related details are provided online.   

B. Tech (LE) Syllabus contains topics from Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects. And for MBA Programme, candidates can prepare as per the CAT syllabus.

UKSEE Admit Card

Admit Card for UKSEE 2020 can be downloaded from the website. The concerned authority does not send admit card to any candidate individually by post. Candidates should bring their admit card issued by the University along with an ID proof to the exam hall.

After filling the exam centre details, he/she cannot change it later. The Admit Card must be kept safe for the admission procedure. Candidates must ensure that all details mentioned on the Admit card are up to date and recent.

The exam will be conducted for various courses in May 2020. 

All Admit Cards will be issued from May 2020 to all UKSEE 2020 exam appearing candidates. This provision can be accessed online only.

After the examination, the result will be made available through online mode. The result can be checked from June 2020. Those qualified candidates in the exam can attend the counselling. 

Counselling for UKSEE begins from the first week of June/July 2020.

  • Navigate to the official website link.
  • Open the link and you will enter the official website.
  • Enter your registration number and date of birth to download the admit card.
  • Click on ‘Submit’ button.
  • Check all entries carefully and print it.
  • Take at least two-three printouts of it and keep it safe till counselling. 

Instructions for the Exam Day

  • Use of mobile phones and calculators are strictly prohibited in the examination hall.
  • Question Booklet (front Page) and the OMR Answer Sheet has appropriate space for candidates to enter their roll numbers only. 
  • Candidates can be disqualified if they do not enter the right details in the space of OMR answer sheet rather than filling details in other areas.
  • It is important for the candidates to reach the exam centre one hour before the exam begins.
  • Candidates are not allowed to enter the exam hall, 15 minutes after the exam process start.
  • The Admit card along with one attested copy of the id proof issued by the University must be brought to the exam centre.
  • Proofs of valid photo IDs in original and non-expired such as PAN card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport or Aadhar Card need to be carried for proper verification purposes.
  • All applicants will not be allowed to leave the exam hall until the completion of the written examination conducted by the University/Institute.

UKSEE RESULTS CORNER

The result will be announced by the Co-ordination Committee for the candidates those have appeared in the entrance exam. After a few days of the conduction of exam, the result will be published in fourth week of June 2020 in the official website.

In the result card the candidates need to check their marks scored, rank, qualifying status, roll number, category, sub-category etc. Candidates should secure the result for further processes.

The cut off for UKSEE 2020 will be announced after proper declaration of the results. UTU decides the probabilities for shortlisted candidates to affiliated colleges of UTU.

The UKSEE Counselling will be conducted online. Counselling is scheduled to begin in months of June/July 2020. Those candidates who have qualified the exam are eligible to appear for the counselling.

No other mode of counselling process is entertained. Please be aware that the University does not send the results to the candidate’s registered address, by post. 

However, the candidates will be notified regarding publishing of UKSEE 2020 result through advertisements in the daily newspaper.

Check Your RESULTS NOW

All applicants must follow the steps to check their results:

  • Visit the official website link.
  • A new page opens on the screen.
  • Select the exam for which you have applied.
  • The result will appear in your system screen.
  • On the Result Card, you can check your roll number, name, father’s name, category, sub-category and rank.
  • Download result and take printout of it. 

Evaluating Results

Separate Merit lists for each course is released by the University online. The Merit list contains the merit position, scorecard with total marks, marks obtained in each subject and answer keys for the candidates. 

If two candidates score equal marks, then the university prepare the inter-se-merit. Inter-se-merit will be determined as follows:

  • A candidate who answers fewer number of incorrect answers will be placed at higher merit.
  • Candidates with higher age will be given preference.
  • The marks scored in the qualifying exam. 

UKSEE Counselling

For UKSEE counselling, the candidates have to register on the website.  Appropriate seat matrix or arrangements for Counselling will be displayed on the website.  The counselling will be conducted through online mode.

Candidates have to deposit the counselling fee for attending the same. Candidates can fill their choice of courses as per the preferences in the counselling process. The seats will be allotted to the candidates based on the merit list and filled choices.

UKSEE Preparation Tips

  • Applicants must prepare for the examination early and stay prepared.
  • Give more time to understand and complete the syllabus study.
  • Applicants have to make the right strategy and planning for the exam to do the better preparation.
  • They can cover the complete syllabus in time and also give enough time for revision and it is necessary to solve a mock test or previous year papers.
  •  Candidates must have to practice to solve the syllabus questions to make their kee of success.
  • Practice makes man perfect. They can increase their speed as well as accuracy by gaining a competitive edge over others out of practice.
  • Candidates must practice answering Aptitude and Reasoning questions as these are the most common questions asked in the UKSEE Entrance exam.
  • Candidates need to avoid stress at the preparation time and maintain good health.
  • They are advised to maintain their physical and mental health and avoid unnecessary stress during the preparation.
  • They need to do daily exercise and yoga for better health.
  • Along with that, they must have to give some time to their hobbies like watching TV, playing games, spending time with their friends, etc.
  • Applicants have to take care of their balanced diet, which includes fruits and vegetables in their diet. 
  • A proper sleep of 7-8 hours will keep the candidates fresh and alert. 
  • At the preferred time, they have to do meditation and yoga, which will help them to calm their minds and also improve their concentration.
