Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering-[SJCE],Mysore

Sri Jayachamarajendra College Of Engineering, Mysore was established in 1963. The College is an autonomous institution and is governed by the grant-in-aid rules of the Government of Karnataka, approved by All India Council For Technical Education [AICTE]. It also accreditated by the National Board of Accreditation [NBA]. SJCE, for short, it comes under the umbrella of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, which is the primary institution. The college wants to become an international leader in engineering and research education. The college is spread over an area of 117 acres of land and has several recognizable building. The world bank associated scheme, the Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme [TEQIP], has recognized SJCE. The Library and Information Center was established in 1963 and it has a collection of 1,36,047 volumes of books.

The college is also providing scholarships for the students who come under reserved category.Civil, Mechanical and Electrical branches of engineering were started first. In the year 1968, SJCE introduces the Electronics and Communication branch of engineering for the first time in Karnataka. After 2000, many undergraduate and postgraduate programs were started. The examinations held by Viswesaraih Technology University, Belgaum the college has been securing very good results.The college offers 12 undergraduate and 14 postgraduate courses. The National Institute of Engineering-[NIE],Mysore

The National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysore was established in 1946. It is one of the oldest private colleges for engineering and was granted autonomy by Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) in 2007. It owes its existence particularly to three eminent figures among sixteen namely, Sri S.Ramaswamy, Sri D.V.Narasimha Rao, and Sri T. Rama Rao. The college ranks between 101 to 150 in the list of top Indian engineering colleges as published by the NIRF-MHRD in April 2017. University of Mysore, [UOM] started its functioning on July 27, 1916, which is located in Mysore. It is the first state university in Karnataka and Sixth oldest university in the country. It was one among the first University to be accredited by NAAC in 2000. The University now stands on 36th position among top colleges in India. The university was founded as a result of the efforts of the benevolent and visionary. University is spread over 739 acres of land, fully surrounded by greenery and a healthy environment. University of Mysore admission can be done online by applying form provided in the official website of the college. Admission intake is done based on marks obtained in the entrance exam for a particular course.

University offered courses such as undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs along with the diploma and certificate courses. The University initially started with two courses. 63 postgraduate departments are offering 76 postgraduate programs with more than 1,20,000 undergraduate, postgraduate, M.Phil, and Ph.D understudies. PES College of Engineering-[PESCE],Mandya

P.E.S. College of Engineering, Mandya is one among the pioneer Engineering Colleges in India. Currently it is affiliated to the (VTU)Visvesvaraya Technological University and is recognized by the (AICTE) All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi. Previously it is affiliated to the University of Mysore. P.E.S. College of Engineering is functioning under the grant-in-aid scheme of Government of Karnataka. The P.E.S. College of Engineering was founded in the year 1962 by People’s Education Society presently called as People’s Education Trust, with the help of philanthropic farmers of Mandya District. The sole objective of the P.E.S. college was to promote Technical Education to the students of Rural Areas.

The Society was started by late Sri K.V. Shankaregowda, former Education Minister of Government of Karnataka. He was a person with a missionary zeal and large cherished ambition to promote and disseminate knowledge, for the cause of Education. The P.E.S. College of Engineering campus is situated in South Western part of Mandya City, along the Bangalore-Mysore Highway, on an elevated and sprawling plot of around 62 acres of land. Mandya City is the district head Quarters and is around 100 kms from Bangalore and almost 45 kms from Mysore. Mandya is well connected by a Highway. Mandya District is predominantly an agricultural area.

Adichunchanagiri University-[ACU],Mandya

Adichunchanagiri University was started in the year 2018. It is situated in Mandya, Karnataka. Adichunchanagiri University has been approved by Union Grants Commission (UGC). It is a private university. The university has six constituent colleges. Adichunchanagiri University provides several undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degree programmes in the streams of engineering, management, commerce, education, medicine and pharmacy.
