GITAM also known as the Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management is situated in Hyderabad was established in the year 2009. GITAM is approved by the University Grant Commission [UGC]. It is one of the premier universities giving education in the state of Telangana. It is accredited to NAAC. GITAM university courses are provided in the stream of Engineering, Architecture, Management, Science, Arts, and Pharmacy. GITAM University admissions criteria are based on the past academic merit and scores in qualifying examinations.

Library: It has a rich collection of more than 34 lakh books and e-journals, 8494 national and international print journals. The library is offered with INFONET services that facilitate online access to e-books and journals.
Hostels: The University has two boys and two girls hostels for the candidates studying in its academic programs. It provides facilities like Safe drinking water, Wi-Fi, Round the clock security, Availability of well-qualified doctors and a resident warden.
Laboratories: It provides excellent opportunities to the faculty and candidates for conducting innovative research in multiple disciplines. It has the most advanced computer labs equipped with high-end software systems. It serves with five Gbps of internet speed to students.

GITAM University offers scholarships to deserving candidates. The university has several scholarship schemes offering financial assistance to the candidates.
Fee concession for each UG program except for B.Sc is INR 10,000 p.a.
For B.Sc and PG programs, the fee offer is INR 20,000 p.a.
GITAM University scholarships will be offered to the candidates for M.Tech. and other PG programs of INR 20,000.
Merit scholarships will be provided to the candidates for the B.Pharmacy program of INR 80,000.
