About JDT Islam College of Pharmacy, Kozhikode, Kerala
JDT Islam College of Pharmacy, Kozhikode in Kerala was established by DT Islam Orphanage Committee who ventured into the field of Pharmacy education in 1996 with the commencement of Diploma in Pharmacy. Within a short time span, it has become one of the most sought after pharmacy colleges in Kerala and is currently one of the top pharmacy colleges in Kerala. With the increased demand in the health – care industry JDT started its degree course in pharmacy in the year 2004. The College of Pharmacy aims at producing dedicated pharmacists with exemplary knowledge and innovative skills competent to function in the global arena.
The institution is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences and is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. The College takes pride in having a team of qualified and experienced teachers who are the backbone and guiding spirit behind the success of the institution.
Currently, the institution is also conducting M. Pharm (Pharmacy Practice). The students are provided evidence-based practice at Iqraa International Hospital and Research Centre.
It helps to mould the students to be role models by providing the best infrastructure and quality education through enlightened management and committed faculty who ensure knowledge transfer. They motivate, instil research aptitude and infuse ethical and cultural values to transform the students into disciplined and competent citizens in order to improve the quality of life.

JDT Islam College of Pharmacy, Kozhikode, Kerala — Course, Fees & Duration
The College offers B. Pharm, M. Pharm and D. Pharm Courses.
The eligibility for B. Pharm course is pass in 10+2 examination or equivalent examinations with 50 % marks, conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or Examinations equivalent there to with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology as optional subjects individually. The candidate shall fulfill eligibility before the last date of application.
A candidate who has passed the B. Pharm Degree Examination of Kerala University of Health Sciences or an examination equivalent thereto of any other university recognized by the Kerala University of Health Sciences with not less than a total of 50% marks is eligible for admission to M. Pharm course.
The candidate should have undergone B. Pharm in an institution approved by AICTE & PCI. Candidates who have passed their B. Pharm course outside Kerala will be eligible for admission only if their qualifying examination is recognized by the Kerala University of Health Sciences on the date of application/allotment. The candidate shall fulfill eligibility before the last date of application.

The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences has a modern infrastructure with spacious classrooms and well-equipped laboratories. It has also a large auditorium for various functions.
It has a well-stocked library with a large collection of books, journals and periodicals. The e-Learning initiative of the campus is an attempt to enable students to learn at their own pace and style. The e-Learning provides an interactive, multi-sensory experience, combining the simplicity of classrooms teaching with a powerful visual medium.
The College accommodates both girls and boys in separate hostels. The hostels have all the facilities and the atest amenities for use by the students. Clean and hygienic food is served within the College campus.
The Pharmacy College has a self-owned fleet of buses to commute students from pick up and drop points to and from the College. The College has a well-built cafeteria for students to enjoy fast food with clean and hygienic preparations.
