P.S.G College of Technology – [PSGCT], CoThe College was established and is situated at the heart of the city. The College aspires to be one of the leaders in engineering education, research and application of knowledge to benefit the society.

The college has over 15 engineering and technology departments besides the computer applications, management sciences, basic sciences, and humanities department. The College provides world-class education in Engineering, Foster Research, and Development for the students.

 To encourage institute-industry interaction, the college has set up several advanced centers and industrial partnership cells. The institute offers three 5-year integrated engineering courses which combine classroom coaching with industrial training. PSGCT is one of the few institutes in the country to offer such a course. The College maintains close interaction with R&D Institutions and industries in various sectors and has executed MOUs with them in the areas of technology development, training of students and curriculum development.

Apart from having well qualified and experienced faculty, the College is benefited by the expertise of 15 visiting faculty from renowned institutions and industries. To keep abreast of the state- of-art technologies and research findings, seminars, conferences and workshops are organised by the different departments from time to time.  More than 505 research scholars are pursuing research programmes leading to higher qualifications and the college is a recognized QIP centre for Post Graduate and doctoral programmes.

PSG College of Technology offers various courses like Bachelor of Engineering in Robotics and Automation Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Master of Technology in Textile Technology (Full Time) for the aspirants in the technical stream.

The college provides a Wi-Fi facility both on the campus and hostel for registered students. So, students can use it for any need like in labs, computers, etc. The food served here is best and hygienic. There are a hospital and pharmacy near the  college. The sports ground is also very vast and encouraging.

Teachers were very helpful and resourceful for students. They encourage the students to do many projects and also guide them us, which is helpful during our placements. The course curriculum is relevant in many fields today, and it provides good jobs with nice salaries.

Classroom facilities are conducive enough for the learning process as they are provided with good quality furniture and fans. There were enough number of projectors and OHP in the classrooms for teaching. Hostel life is cherishing for lifetime due to the high experience it offers.
