About SNS College of Engineering – [SNSCE], Coimbatore

SNS College of Technology, Coimbatore established in 2002 by SNS Charitable Trust engaged in serving the society in the fields of education, health and Industry. Committed to producing engineers with high calibre and professionalism, the College was conferred autonomous status by UGC in 2012-13. The Institution is located on NH 209, Sathy Main Road, and 10 K.M. away from the Coimbatore city.

The College is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Anna University. The Courses are accredited by NBA. The Institution is also accredited with NAAC ‘A’ Grade. 

The college offers 14 Under Graduate Programmes and 6 Post-Graduate Programmes in the leading fields of Engineering and Technology.

Apart from academic activities, the college is committed to excellence in Research and Development. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering have been recognized as Research departments by Anna University for doing research leading to Ph.D. Degree.

For B.E. /B. Tech courses,  minimum educational qualification of the candidate should be 10+2 and should have minimum 45% of mark in his/her studies as per the norms of Anna University.

One of the subjects at Higher Secondary level should be mathematics.

For M.E./M. Tech, a pass in a recognized Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant field with at least 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserve category) in the qualifying degree examination is essential. 

The cutoff marks  is decided by the College every year.

The Placement cell, an integral part of SNSCE continuously monitors the employment opportunities available in diverse corporate industries, interacts and arranges the campus interviews for the eligible students both at Under Graduate and Post Graduate level. 

In addition to placement of students, the Cell also arranges for Guest Lectures/Workshops conducted by Eminent HR / Technical Professionals from IT, ITeS and Core Industries at regular intervals to encrich the students with current skill sets and make them “Industry Ready”.
