All India Institute of Medical Sciences at Mangalagiri is established in the year 2018, is also called as AIIMS Mangalagiri or AIIMS-MG,AIIMS-M, and it is a public medical research institute situated in Mangalagiri in Guntur at Andhra Pradesh. It is part of the 4 ‘Phase-IV’ All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) announced in July 2014 by Ministry of Health-care and Family Welfare (MHFW) under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). The main objective of All India Institute of Medical Sciences at Mangalagiri is to impart good medical attention and healthcare facilities and along with education and research to areas under-served of all such sides.
AIIMS Mangalagiri’s permanent campus is still under construction and is said to be finished by 2021 across an sprawling area of 183 acre. While, the college has commenced the academic session from 2018 to 2019, from the temporary campus of GSMC, Government Siddhartha Medical College at Vijayawada. The outpatient department (OPD) at the permanent campus beguned operating in March 2019. The Institute comprises 2 lecture halls which have been refurbished with modern amenities and state-of-the-art equipment for a fulfilling class room experience. AIIMS Mangalagiri offers a total of 22 departments, which contain Anaesthesiology, Anatomy, , Dentistry,Biochemistry, Community Medicine, ENT, Dermatology, Forensic Medicine, General Surgery, General Medicine, Pathology, Microbiology,Paediatrics and more. It has well-recognised and highly-experienced faculty members who have contributed well in the world of medical academia, research journals at national and international level.

The temporary campus provides facilities like administration block, new academic blocks for eight departments, virtual classrooms with integrated Audiovisual facilities, lecture halls, demonstration rooms, common rooms for both boys and girls, new equipment for laboratories and dissection halls, shared laboratories and dissection halls, library and hostels.
Other facilities provided on the temporary campus at Government Siddhartha Medical College are bank (Syndicate Bank), post office, transportation facilities.
