TKM Institute of Technology (TKMIT), Kollam was established in 2002. The college is managed by TKM Trust, which was established with a view to impart quality education to the growing young and aspiring minds who have embraced technical education as the path to excellence. It is approved by the India Council for Technical Education (AICET), New Delhi The and affiliated to Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT). Institute now offers B-Tech courses in six disciplines. The whole process of learning is viewed in its holistic form, it is directed to empowering each individual to become a responsible citizen into tomorrow’s future.
TKM is a private self finance institution. The mission of the college is to facilitate world class technical education through inspiring thoughts, imparting knowledge and impacting mindset. The vision of the college is to be a world class institution that imparts technical education in innovative areas and wholly directed towards molding today’s youth into tomorrow’s promise. TKMIT, Kollam provides 12 degree courses across 1 branch namely Engineering and across 2 degrees courses like B.Tech, M.Tech. TKMIT campus is spread across 25 Acres. Hostel facility is available for the students. It includes campus facilities such as Wifi, Boys Hostel, Auditorium,Canteen, Computer Lab, Seminar hall, Fest, Girls Hostel, ATM, Mess, Library, Banking, Medical Facilities, Class Room, Sports are also available.
