CG PET 2021 or Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test is a State-level entrance exam for admission of students in engineering, Dairy Technology, Agriculture technology courses offered by different Colleges and institutions in Chhattisgarh. The examination is conducted by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB). It is a gateway for the candidates to get admission in engineering and its specialized courses such as Dairy Technology and Agriculture Engineering. The examination is likely to be held in the first week of May 2021.
CG PET 2021 Highlights
The Application process of CG PET 2021 entrance exam is to commence tentatively in March 2021. The entrance exam is likely to be held in May as a pen and paper test. The admit card for the entrance exam is available for download after the registration process is over.
The provisional answer keys of CG PET 2021 will be released by the authority. Candidates will be able to match their responses marked in the entrance exam with the official CG PET answer keys.
Candidates can also raise objections regarding the provisional answer keys by paying an amount to the authority. The final CG PET answer key 2021 will be released after scrutinizing the objections. The final answer keys will be released along with the result.
CPEB will announce the result of CG PET 2021 in online mode tentatively in June. The authority will also publish the list of students selected for admission on the basis of JEE Main marks.

Important Information for Registration
- Candidates are requested to ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria i.e. Educational Qualification, Age, for the entrance test as mentioned by the authorities.
- Required application fee can be paid via Online Mode (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro/Credit Cards/Internet Banking/IMPS/Cash Card/Mobile Wallets/Debit Cards). The candidate shall bear all the bank processing charges for the payment of application fees.
- Please note that all the particulars mentioned in the online application form including Name of the Candidate, Category, Class, Date of Birth and Course Applied for, Address, Mobile Number and Email ID etc. will be considered as final and no change/modifications will be allowed after submission of the online application form.
- Candidates are requested to fill the online application form with utmost care as no correspondence regarding change of details will be entertained.
- CPEB shall not be responsible for any consequences arising out of furnishing of incorrect and incomplete details/omission of details in the online application form.
- In case of multiple registrations for single program/course by a candidate, the last online application submitted shall be considered for the allotment. Counseling fees for rest of the registrations shall not be refunded.
- Candidates claiming SC/ST/OBC Category and/or “Ex Serviceman”/”Differently Abled”/”Freedom Fighter” Class must have relevant certificate in the prescribed format.
Filling of the Application Form
To register for CG PET 2021, students need to follow three steps:
Step 1: Entering Exam Pre-requisites
In the first step, candidates have to enter the following details-

Step 2: Entering Basic Information – Next, candidates will have to enter basic information as mentioned below-

Step 3: Uploading Scanned Image – After entering all the details, candidates have to download the image format and paste the passport size photograph as per the specifications. The thumb impressions of the candidates have to be imprinted on the given space and then scanned the images and upload them.
Step 4: Entering Contact Details – After entering the basic details, candidates will have to enter contact information which will include-

Step 5: Selection of exam centre – Candidates have to select the exam centres as per their preferences. The list of centres will be available on the drop-down menu. Candidates have to choose any three centres as per their choice.
Step 6: Submission of application form – After entering all the above details correctly, candidates have to accept the declaration and enter captcha code for the final submission of CG PET application form.
Step 7: Payment of application fee – After submitting the application form, candidates will have to pay the CG PET 2021 application fee in online mode. Candidates can use any one of the online payment gateway – credit/debit card or internet banking.

CG PET Merit List 2021
The authority will prepare a merit list of CG PET 2021 on the basis of the performance of the candidates in their qualifying examination.
Candidates
shortlisted in the merit list will be called for the counselling and seat
allotment process. The candidates will be called as per the merit ranks and
higher the ranks of the candidates the more are the chances for the admission
in the preferred courses and colleges.
CG PET Counseling 2021
Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Raipur will conduct the CG PET 2021 counselling tentatively in June. The counselling is held for CG PET and JEE Main qualified candidates.
The schedule for CG PET counselling will be released separately for both JEE Main and CG PET exam qualifiers. Candidates have to keep their documents ready beforehand to appear in the counselling. The seat allotment will be held as per the candidates’ ranks, preferences of courses, colleges, availability of seats, category etc.
General Instructions for Candidates
- Candidates will have to be present one hour before the exam in the examination centre.
- Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall after proper verification of their identity proofs as shown in their Photo Id Proof.
- Candidates will have to carry two colour passport sized photograph to the examination centre if the photograph is not printed on the admit card.
- Once the entrance test begins no candidate will be allowed to enter in the hall.
- Admit card will not be sent to the applicants by post.
- Candidates must familiarize themselves with the exam centre before a few days.
