COMEDK Undergraduate Entrance Test 2021 is a State-level Entrance exam conducted by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka for students seeking admission to B. Tech degree and Architecture courses in various engineering colleges located in Karnataka. Candidates can also apply for admission in Architecture courses based on NATA Scores.

Updates on Application Form
The Application form is made available from February 2021 and can be filled through online mode.
- The application form needs to be filled carefully and correctly.
- If there are mistakes in filling up the form, candidates can make corrections in the form from 20th June 2021 to 23rd June 2021 up to 12 pm.
- After filling all details, candidates are required to upload documents such as photograph and signature, unique ID, proof, parent’s signature, etc in the specified format.
- Upload the photograph and signature in JPEG/ JPG format with the image size of 80 KB and ID proof size should be minimum 150 KB.
- There is no need to send any hardcopy of the document by post or mail to the authority.
- A print out of the filled application form may be taken and kept safely till the completion of admission procedure..
Application Fee
- Application fee should be submitted through online mode.
- Candidates can submit their application fee using debit card/ credit card or net banking.
- Application fee is Rs.1300 + GST & Convenience charges.

Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Courses
- The qualifying examinations prescribed for admission for B.E. is second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognized by State/Central Government; the last two years of study shall comprise Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject.
- The General Merit candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) and should have passed these subjects individually. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Bio-Technology or Biology or any other technical vocational courses as one of the optional subjects. However, changes, if any, in the eligibility criteria by the AICTE will be adopted.
Eligibility Criteria for Architectural Courses
- The prescribed qualifying examination for admission to B. Arch course is second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects along with other subjects or a 10+3 Diploma recognized by Central / State Government and having obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% in the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka.

COMEDK 2021 Selection Process
- Register for COMEDK. Visit the official website and pay the fees for the subjects enrolled for COMEDK Exams. Fee for Candidates who attempt three subjects is Rs.1600/- for PCM. Fees for the COMEDK.
- Download the COMEDK Admit Card from the official website. The admit card contains important details such as name, address, test centres, contact details, etc.
- COMEDK 2021 is conducted online; therefore, all aspirants need to reach the exam hall at least an hour before commencing of the exam.
- Checking of COMEDK 2021 Exam Result: The results will be declared online. Applicants who are eligible can view their results under the ‘applicant login’ section of the website. The result shows the candidates merit position, scorecard with total marks and the scores obtained in each subject.
HOW TO FILL AND COMPLETE YOUR APPLICATION FORM?
- Fill in candidate details in the registration form to generate and validate OTP for the registered mobile number online.
- Click on register and complete the candidate registration.
- Receive SMS & E-mail with User ID/App no and Password Logout and Login Again using User ID & Password.
- Click on ‘Go to application’ Select exam that you are applying for.
- Enter your personal details.
- Fill in category details.
- Fill in academic details and upload documents in prescribed format and size as mentioned in the information brochure.
- Fill in examination city preferences and select payment details.
- Verify all details in “Preview” Page. Click on “Submit ” and complete payment Check successful application status by logging in again.
- Take print out of the application (for your reference only).
General Instruction Format for Registration
- All the details asked for Registration /Application form are Mandatory.
- E-mail ID and mobile number should remain the same till the Admission process is completed.
- An Email Id once used for Registration online, cannot be used again.
- Details given at the time of registration cannot be edited later on in the application form.
- Please review all details entered at time of registration before Clicking on Submit Button and proceeding to application form.
- After successful registration, you will receive the User id and Password on your Mobile Number and Email Id which is unique & system generated.
- Log in with your unique USER ID and PASSWORD to complete the application process. Click on “Go to Application” button (Right hand top corner) to be directed to Application Form.
- Kindly use Internet Explorer (version 10 and above) or Mozilla Firefox (52 and above) or Google Chrome (58 and above) to fill in the Application Form.
- Also clear your browsing history and cache and retry in case you are facing any technical issue in viewing the details in application form.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING THE APPLICATION ONLINE
- Once the application form is submitted online, request for any change in the data entered in the application form will not be entertained.
- Hence the candidates are cautioned to be careful while filling the Online Application Form.
- Ensure that Online Application Form is filled properly with complete details.
- Click on “PREVIEW” button and re- verify all the particulars in application form before clicking on SUBMIT button.
- Incomplete/incorrect applications are liable to be rejected at any stage without prior information to the candidate.
- Multiple application forms from the same candidate will result in confusion leading to disqualification of the candidate.
DOCUMENTS TO BE UPLOADED-REQUIREMENTS/GUIDELINES
- Photograph must be a recent (not more than three months) colour photograph with light background.
- The same image/photo should be used for all the subsequent processes such as in the Test Admission Ticket.
- The photograph should have a full-face view looking into the camera directly. The main features of the face must not be covered by hair of the head, any cloth or any shadow. Forehead, Eyes, Nose and Chin should be clearly visible.
- The photograph should be in .JPEG or JPG image format.
- The Scan image should be less than 80 kb.
- Before submitting the forms, please check in the Preview page, whether the uploaded image is clear and meeting all norms mentioned above Signature of Candidate.

REJECTED APPLICATIONS
- Applications without any of the mandatory documents/ information will be summarily rejected; they will not be considered for processing.
- Applications with incomplete/incorrect details can be rejected at any time.
- The candidates whose applications are rejected or wish to reapply for any reason can fill up a new application online and submit the same by making new payment before the last date of application.
- However, they should register again with a new Email ID, fill Online Application Form and submit the same online before last day of submission of online application form.
- COMEDK does not take responsibility to inform such of those candidates individually whose application is rejected, though the reasons for rejections would be hosted on its website under applicant login/communicated via email.
- Therefore, the candidates are advised to doubly check that their application form is complete in all respect before submitting the same.
- The candidates are advised to check the website regularly for regular updates.
ONLINE TEST ADMISSION TICKET & RELATED DETAILS
- Online Test Admission Ticket will be available under applicant login of the COMEDK website from 1st Week of May 2021.
- Candidates appearing for the Test should download & obtain printout of the Online Test Admission Ticket (Online TAT). No Test Admission Ticket (TAT) will be dispatched either by email or post or courier or in person to the candidates under any circumstances.
- Candidates will not be allowed to write the COMEDK UGET -2021 without the print out of Online Test Admission Ticket along with other documents indicated thereon. Also, candidates have to retain the TAT for counselling and until the completion of the Admission process.
- Candidates have to ensure that the invigilator of their respective centre signs the test admission ticket.
- Candidates are advised to go through the below mentioned instructions carefully after printing the Online Test Admission Ticket (TAT). After taking the printout of Online Test Admission Ticket, the candidates are cautioned to check the following details:
- Test Admission Ticket number (TAT number)
- Candidate’s Name (as mentioned in the application form).
- Candidate’s address and contact details (as mentioned in the application form).
- Candidate’s photo (as given in the application form).
- Test centre details.
- Test Timings, ID Proof Details, Provision for Sticking Passport size photograph (box)
- General Instructions on TAT.
- The candidates are advised to read the instructions printed in the TAT carefully before appearing for the TEST.
- Hence the candidates must download the TAT one day before the exam and preserve the printed Online TAT until the admission process is completed.
- The candidates must not mutilate or laminate the Test Admission Ticket or change any entry made therein after it has been authenticated & received by them. Impersonation is a legally punishable offence.
- The Test Admission Ticket is an important document and it must be preserved and produced at the time of Counselling /Admission.

COMEDK 2021 EXAM GUIDELINES
All candidates should appear at their respective exam centres at least an hour or 60 minutes before to avoid any last-minute problems. Documents/items necessary for the Exam Day:
- A pencil and a sheet of paper for rough work.
- No extra text materials, log tables, calculators, electronic watches, mobile phones and others will be allowed in the exam hall.
- A Printout of the COMEDK Admit Card.
- Original as well as a scanned copy of the identity proof.
- Two recent size photographs.
- Scanned copy of the school/college photo ID attested by the principal of the institution. (i.e. 2nd PUC / 12th Standard).
- A scanned copy of the COMEDK Application Form.
FAQ’s of COMEDK 2021
- COMEDK 2021 is scheduled to be held in 2nd Week of May 2021.
- The exam is open to all eligible applicants across India.
- COMEDK mock tests will be conducted by the Consortium on the official website from February 2021. Before the exam is held, COMEDK will release six mock tests to gain adaptability to time limits and question types before he/she appears for the real exam.
- The candidates can take the mock test by using their login credentials registered before.
- The eligibility criteria for the COMEDK exam are as per the norms of AICTE.
- BArch Courses are not based on COMEDK written exams. Interested candidates of BArch must have appeared for NATA before applying for counselling of COMEDK.

Note: It is mandatory for all candidates to appear for Physics and Chemistry entrance exam. But the third paper depends upon their course preferences selected by them in their application forms.
