AIIMS 2021 or All India Institute of Medical Science admission will be made through NEET scores. AIIMS organises the admission procedure to MBBS programmes by selecting NEET qualified candidates. Successful candidates are admitted into AIIMS Institutes at New Delhi, Bhopal, Rishikesh, Nagpur, Jodhpur, Guntur, Raipur and Bhubaneshwar.
Candidates need to register for admission through PAAR registrations. The AIIMS Exam dates have been released for the candidate’s reference:

The AIIMS MBBS 2021 Application Form:
The AIIMS Application Form can be filled online. The application process begins from 3rd week of January 2021. Candidates must fill in their details correctly; else the application forms will be rejected.
Registration process is done as per the PAAR facility in two stages. One is Basic Registration and the second is Final Registration. Under the basic registration process, candidates need to fill in their primary details and upload scanned images and signature as per the instructions in the application form booklet.
Students completing the basic registration process will proceed to the code generation step. In the final registration process, students have to fill in the remaining fields and make appropriate fee payments.
Official authorities of the AIIMS 2021 will provide corrections opportunity online. The candidates must take care not to send any hard copy of the application form via offline to the authority.
Registration Slips should be kept safelyby the candidates until the admission procedure is complete.

AIIMS 2021 Application Forms Filling
AIIMS 2021 application form filling consists of six significant steps:
- Basic Registration
- Uploading of Images
- Printing the Application
- Display of qualification and Address details
- Payments
- Choosing of city
- Printing the Confirmation Page
Basic registration involves the following:
- Visit the Registration Tab on the Home page of the official website link.
- A new page will be shown with a Click Here for New Basic Registration button.
- Read all instructions carefully given and click on Proceed button.
- Again, read all specified instructions layed out and begin your registration process.
- Enter the details such as course applications, contact details, ID proof details, and others.
- It is necessary to read the declaration form of eligibility and tick on the given box.
- Now hit the Generate Registration ID & Password button.
- You would receive a candidate User Id and password for future login on your screen.
- Enter the log in details, like generated ID and Password to view the details.
- Read all entered details and check it.
- The next step is uploading of scanned photographs and thumb impression.
- Click the Choose File button and Select the file.
- Now upload the scanned photo (size preferably between 50-100 KB), signature and thumb impression (preferable size limit is 20-100 KB). Please note that all images should be in JPG, JPEG, GIF & PNG formats only.
- Click the Accept button after the uploading of the photo, signature and thumb impressions if any.
- Tick the Declaration page and Proceed to next step.
- The uploaded images will be shown on the screen. Check all entered details carefully and printouts taken as needed.
Final Registration comprises the following:
Under the qualification window after the basic registration process is completed, candidates have to enter the details of exams, etc to make the payment of the fee online. Click on the Online Payment Link, select the mode of payment using debit/credit cards or net-banking and print the application slip generated.
Next, select the city of your choice by entering the State and City details. Exam centre once selected, cannot be changed/altered. Review your application for any errors and click on Print button for the print out of the Application Form. Copies should be kept until the admission procedure is complete.
AIIMS 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Some of the eligibility criteria that the candidates must fulfil are:
- Candidates must be an Indian citizen/OCI and Foreign National candidates.
- Candidates have to pass their 12th (10+2) standard/ SSC examination (CBSE) or Intermediate Science (ISC) or equivalent exams to qualify.
- Candidates must pass 12th class with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with English as a compulsory subject.
- Candidates must score a minimum of 60% marks in General and 50% marks for SC/ST/OPH/Foreign Nationals).
- Candidates must be 17 years as on 31st December 2021.
- No upper age limit is specified.
AIIMS 2021 Exam Pattern
AIIMS 2021 exam gives an overview of how the exam is conducted, with questions from various subjects covered in 12th class and proper weightage given to questions.
The exam pattern also provides a gist of how questions are framed and the number of questions with proper marks allotted and the type of question paper that has been set for the candidates.
The exam will be conducted online via a computer-based test. The written examination would be two shifts – morning and afternoon. The exam will be held in the fourth week of May 2020. Questions will be from subjects like Chemistry, Physics, Biology, General Knowledge and Aptitude.
The exam will be of a 3hours and 30minute duration. The morning shift for the exam is 9.00 am – 12.30 pm and noon shift from 3.00 pm – 6.30 pm. Questions will be framed in multiple choice question format. And Reason Assertion Type.
There would be a total of 200 questions in the exam. Question paper would be available in English and Hindi languages. Each correct answer would give you 1 mark and each wrong answer deducted will be 1/3 marks. A detailed exam pattern is laid out for reference:

Exam Reminders
Candidates have to report the exam centre 2 hours before the mentioned time on the Admit Card. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall 15 minutes before the exam. Candidates should not carry pen/pencils, electronic gadgets, study materials, etc into the examination hall.
You cannot leave the exam hall without prior permission of the invigilator. Any kind of mischievous behaviour or impersonating will not be tolerated.
AIIMS 2021 Admit Card
Candidates can download their Admit Card online. No Admit Cards will be sent through post or other offline methods to the candidates. A valid exam Admit Card is necessary to enter the exam hall and write the exam. Candidates must keep their Admit Card until the complete admission procedure.
How to Download the Admit Card?
Candidates can go through the steps for downloading the Admit Card:
- Visit the official link of AIIMS 2021.
- Next, click on the Academic courses tab.
- Select the respective course to proceed.
- Press the Registration/Login link fromthe menu.
- Enter the login details with Candidate Id, Password and Captcha code.
- Next, click on Login button. The Admit card appears on the screen. Check and verify for entered details.
- Keep print outs of the admit card until the admission process is over.
If there are any discrepancies while downloading the Admit Card, then the Candidate should contact the Assistant Controller of Examinations, AIIMS, New Delhi.
AIIMS 2021 Cut Off
AIIMS authority sets up cut off marks needed to qualify for further admission processes. The candidates have to score the marks above the cut off marks to get a seat for counselling. Cut off marks are prepared on the basis of several factors like number of seats available, number of candidates applied, difficulty level of the exam and marking scheme. The cut off marks are released along with the Results of AIIMS 2021 for the candidates.
AIIMS 2021 Counselling
The AIIMS 2021 Counselling will be held in 4 rounds – Mock round, Round 1, round 2 and Open Counselling. Candidates must carry their documents for certificate verification round of counselling.
