Kalasalingam University is a private university formerly Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Engineering established by the pioneering Kalasalingam Anandam Ammal Charities in the year 1984. The University has received the status of Deemed to be University in the year 2006. University aims to provide quality education and research making students technically competent, socially committed technocrats and administrators. Kalasalingam University is accredited by NAAC with A grade. It is also approved by NBA and it has secured 4th place at National Level in the Green Matric Ranking. University is located in the most backward rural area providing technical knowledge to the downtrodden people as pointed out by our Hon’ble Prime Minister of India.

Information Service to all Users. University aims to help prepare every student
to achieve their personal and professional goals through higher education. The
library has a rich collection of books, e-books, journals, magazines, newspaper
subscriptions, bound volumes, dissertations, bare acts, and online databases.
The collection is updated regularly.
The main motto is to
inculcate the habit of reading among the young students while catering to the
academic and research activities of its students, scholars and faculty members.
The library is continuously making efforts to enrich its collection. University
also provides health and medical care facilities to their students. University
provides scholarships for students as per UGC & State Government
norms. Computer workstations are found in the browsing center located on the
first floor. All computers have a fast internet connection.
University has free wifi facilities on campus. The college has well maintained Digital Auditorium with multiple speakers, with superior quality, LED and proper stage facilities. University also provides special lectures to every student by eminent academicians, Jurist, Lawyers and many other big members from law. University has hostels facilities also. University has different clubs like Women Development Cell, Research Development Cell, Inter Quality Assurance Cell, Carrier Counselling, and Development Cell. University is also providing transport facilities that are 40 buses and 2 vans under defined routes to travel.

University also provides guest house booking, for parents and family members or if any function is organized by the university then guest house accommodation is done. The college has an indoor auditorium for sports and a world-class swimming pool. Sports Arena with 15 different playgrounds.

University provides scholarships for those candidates who have scored good marks in the university entrance test. University scholarships are also based on charity scholarship. If the candidate score above 90% in KEEE, then college provides a 50% scholarship until 35% in KEEE, university provides a somewhat scholarship to every student who has fallen in this category. Charity scholarships have some different category which is if a candidate is under the top 10 State Rank, then the university is providing a 100% scholarship. To top 3 District rank holders,75% scholarship fees are provided by the university. Different state-level sports and extracurricular activities students also receive some scholarship.
