Rajagiri School Of Engineering & Technology (RSET) is a prime educational institution of Kakanand, Kochi which provides excellent engineering education and research to the students. The College is affiliated by the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala. It is approved by the All India Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi. The institute is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The main mission of the institute is to best impart state of the art knowledge to the students in several technical fields. RSET is a part of the Rajagiri Vidyapeetham to become a wide network of institutions and centers which will offer best quality education from pre-primary to doctoral programs of specialization and to seek the alternatives to the conventional mainstream efforts.

The sprawling over 90-acre campus is situated on the banks of the river Chitrapuzha. It lies in close to a large number of industries in the large and small-scale sectors of the industrial belt of Kerala.
The central Library has al ost around 33951 Volumes of books and access to around 350 online journals.
All computers on the Rajagiri campus are networked and internet-enabled through a 24/7, 150 Mbps 1:1 leased line (90 Mbps Asianet & 60 Mbps.
The campus provides separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls with Resident Tutors/Wardens to look into the welfare of the students, to offer with the necessary help.
A medical center with a full-time nurse is available on the campus.
The Rajagiri college post office, officially the Rajagiri Valley Post Office has Speed Post and Electronic Fund Transfer facility.
There are guest rooms available of international standards for faculty members coming for short lectures/seminars/conferences etc.
