The SCMS SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY was started to aspire state of art education in the field of Engineering and Technology. The SSET draws more inspiration and expertise from the School of Communication and Management Studies and the business school of the group. The ISO 9001 quality certified business school is highly rated by India’s fast leading business journals. The SCMS School of Engineering is the only AICTE accredited business school in the state of Kerala. SCMS has also received, in recognition with performance, substantial grants from the AICTE, Government of India. SSET is counted one among the first ten institutions to be run in the state of Kerala under the private self-financing scheme. The college offers an integrated system of learning in all the basic branches. The faculty members of the college is well trained, highly motivated and dedicated towards their assigned roles. The college offers a state of the art infrastructure for its candidates with a blend of several extra-curricular activities.
SCMS COLLEGE, Ernakulam provides 13 degree courses across 2 branches namely Engineering, IT and across 3 degree programs like B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA. SCMS COLLEGE campus is spread across 29 Acres. The college is well equipped with several facilities to help young students throughout their college life. Few of theses facilities are:
Hostel: There is one hostel for both boys with a capacity of over 489 students and one hostel for girls with a capacity of around 390 students. The hostel is well equipped with various facilities like a common TV room, Computer Centre, Indoor games, Badminton court, and Newspaper / Magazine section.
Transportation:The College offers 22 buses to help students and faculty members to travel from and to the college.
Canteen:A canteen with centralized production of food is on the campus which serves both vegetarian and non vegetarian food.
College Store:The SCMS college also has a store for all the stationery and books.
