Sree Narayana Guru Institute of Science & Technology (SNGIST), Ernakulam established by Gurudeva Trust is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University. The college is the fruition of the pioneering efforts of its visionary founders to create a centre of excellence in higher learning which is unique and different not only for the philosophy and values, but also for the innovative learning practices. Sree Narayana Guru Institute has its main focus on offering world class higher education with a strong social commitment.
The vision of the institute is to ensure a holistic transformation of students into professionals who will be the creative technocrats and corporate leaders with social responsibility made possible through an educational system that builds competence, confidence and compassion. The mission of the institute is to enable students to explore the resources available to them and make their experience of it unique, personal and internalized for growth and to undergo a transformational learning. SGI, Ernakulam provides 29 degree courses across 6 branches namely Law, Science, Commerce, Management, IT, Engineering and across 10 degree programs like B.Tech, B.Com, LLB, BSc, BCA. Hostel facility is not available for the students. It includes campus facilities such as Auditorium, Canteen, Alumini association, Gym, Seminar Hall, Library, Transport, Medical Facilities, Class Room, Grounds, WiFi are also available.

Library
The Library at Sree Guru Institute is an outstanding learning resource for its users. The library has more than around 20000 volumes of text books and over 130 journals/magazines and access to over 1600 e-journals. Additionally, we have the e-learning facilities. The library is opened on all days except Sundays and holidays. The library has the facility for two online databases and J-Gate Journal of Engineering and Technology covering more than around 3000 titles and almost 217 periodicals through website.
Computer Labs
All members of staff members and students of the Institution can avail of the facilities in the computer lab.
The computer lab will be opened around 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM.
Students should sign in the Lab Gate Register.
The campus is located on over 12 acres of land. It is a Wi-Fi campus with almost over 400 computers and modern computer labs housing state-of-the-art technology. The eco-friendly campus offers opportunities to students to engage in several sports like basketball, volleyball and shuttle badminton.
The separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls together can accommodate more than over 500 students.
