Triveni Institute of Pharmacy, Thrissur in Kerala was established in 2013 by Kerala State Co-operative Consumers’ Federation Ltd (Consumerfed), the Apex body of Consumer Co-operatives in the State serving the people of the State through its varied activities for about five decades. The Institute is located at Kechery in Thrissur District.
Triveni Institute of Pharmacy aims at inspiring and educating Pharmacists and prepares students to enter the practice of pharmacy with the knowledge and skill required to provide pharmacist-delivered patient care particularly in Kerala and elsewhere. Its Vision is o be a leader in exemplary pharmacy education and research of high-quality standards and improvement of health.
The College offers B. Pharm and D.Pharm courses. The Courses are approved by Pharmacy Council Of India, New Delhi, Kerala University Of Health Sciences Thrissur & Directorate Of Medical Education, Thiruvananthapuram.

Triveni Institute of Pharmacy, Thrissur, Kerala -Course, Fees & Duration
To be eligible for B.Pharm course, the candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examinations (10+2) of the Government of Kerala or any other course treated as equivalent thereto with English as one of the Subject and Physics, Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Biology/ Maths/ Biotechnology or Computer Science as optional subjects. Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50 % marks for the optional subjects and 50 % marks aggregate for all the 3 subjects put together.
The eligibility for D. Pharm is a pass in the Higher Secondary Examinations (10+2) of the Govt. of Kerala or any other equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Biology/Maths/ as optional subjects.
OR
V.H.S.C of Kerala from 1994-95 session with Group A and B only are considered as equivalent exam for admission to D. Pharm course. (Group A – N.C.E.R.T syllabus in Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Group B – N.C.E.R.T syllabus in Physics, Chemistry and Biology).

Triveni Institute of Pharmacy is housed in a 4 storied building in the 2.5 acres of land in Mazhuvanchery Desam, Eranellur Village, Kechery, and Thrissur District. The College has a modern infrastructure meeting all the requirements r for a B.PHARM and D.PHARM institution.
The Institute laboratories are well equipped and include those for Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical chemistry, Physiology and pharmacology, Pharmacognosy and Pharmacy practice

Placement Cell and Type of Jobs for Pharmacists
The placement cell in the Institute aims at providing the final year students, with career aspirations, a chance to realize their dreams. Activities ranging from seminars to workshops are conducted in order to provide the students with an opportunity to develop their skills. Skill development includes communication skills, presentation skills, resume writing, personality development, interview training, training for higher education and competitive exams inclusive of entrance exams.
Aptitude tests and logic building training is provided to help students fare better in interviews. Guest lectures and seminars are also arranged. The Cell assesses student abilities and creates a database so as to provide them with the correct career opportunity.
Orientation programmes are conducted periodically in order to boost the student’s confidence. This programme consists of morale-boosting lectures by eminent experts in the area of motivation and leadership qualities, career guidance, public speaking, spoken English and group discussions. This provides them with a platform to showcase their talents thus sealing their success.
The pharmacy sector offers lots of opportunities to the students after the completion of the course. The students can work in Pharmaceutical companies or Clinical Research Organizations, health centres, hospitals, etc. or can practice as a Pharmacist. There is huge number of opportunities available for the students in both Government and the private sector.
The graduates find job placements in drug manufacturing companies, research field, Pharmacies, Hospitals and teaching (D. Pharm). Some other jobs available for the B. Pharm graduates are Drugs inspector, Analyst, and medical representatives, R& D Scientist, etc.
