KSR College of Engineering, Namakkal was established in 2001 by KSR Educational Charitable Trust as an institution committed to perfection and excellence in the field of Technical Education.

The College approved by AICTE and affiliated to Anna University has received autonomous status from UGC.

KSR College of Engineering, Namakkalhas a state-of art-infrastructure with well-equipped and well furnished class rooms and well-equipped laboratories for all the Departments. Well-furnished and air conditioned 2 Conference halls have been set up for conducting the recruitment process, Interviews, Personality Development Programmes, Seminars, Association meetings, etc. Conference halls are and provided with the latest Multimedia Projector, Slide Projector and Over Head Projector. Besides, there is one Auditorium and 5 Seminar halls with air conditioned facility.
The college library has good collection of more than 78648 Volumes of books and subscribe to above 430 national and international journals in addition to other resources such as CD-ROMs, online databases, etc. Apart from print journals, college subscribes to 9 online e journals packages and e-books.
The College hostel has modern amenities like Modern Kitchen, Intercom Facility to each Room, and a separate Reading hall. Each department has one Seminar hall with the latest Multimedia Projectors, Slide Projectors and Over Head Projectors facility for conducting Recruitment programmes, Interviews, Personality Development Seminars, Association Meetings, etc.
An ATM bank is also provided within the campus premises. The Transport Division of the institution operates more than 180 buses. Free Bus Facilities are provided to all students, Faculty members and Staff. The College has a food court serving different delicious cuisines of various States of the country.
The campus is fully equipped with 24/7 wi-fi facility for the students. Medical facilities are available inside the campus round the clock.
The college has merged with the information superhighway by providing Internet facilities round the Clock (24 x 7). Students and faculty members enjoy unlimited Internet access with 120 Mbps bandwidth.
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering has its own Research and Development Laboratory for its Research and Development programme in progress. Thus, the College provides an opportunity to the Students, the Faculty and Staff to contribute to the advancement in Science & Technology.
The College has a modern 20,000 sq. ft. Indoor Stadium of International Standard with facilities for Basket Ball, Volley Ball, and Shuttle (Badminton). A Tennis Court and a track and field for Athletics are also available.
Modern Gymnastics and Aerobic types of equipment are available for both boys and girls students. A Swimming Pool is available.
A language laboratory has been set up with the aim of offering effective training for improving the Communication Skills of the students. Our college has got its own water treatment plant and Genset facilities with a capacity of 180 KVA for uninterrupted power supply to both college and hostel blocks on the campus.

For B.E. / B. Tech, minimum educational qualification of the candidate should be 10+2 and should have minimum 45% of mark in his/her studies as per the norms of Anna University.
One of the subjects at Higher Secondary level should be mathematics.
For M.E./M. Tech, a pass in a recognized Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant field with at least 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserve category) in the qualifying degree examination is essential.
Cut off marks of 200 (aggregate of 200 marks in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry in +2 (HSC) Academic / +2 (Vocational / Diploma (Pre-final & Final Semester) is considered for ranking purpose as per the norms of the Government of Tamil Nadu through Single Window Admission with Reservation Policy.

Classrooms and lab facilities are good. Labs are equipped with a good quality computer and air-conditioners. Attending labs gives the students real-time learning. The library has a wide range of books. Hostel facilities are good, and food in the hostel is also manageable. The college has 6 to 7 canteens, and they are well-maintained.
The College provides a good learning environment and excellent education from the College staff members. Teachers are good to the students regarding education and other scenarios. There is a good environment for studying to inculcate their innate abilities. The labs are so good, for project-related things. The College gives the students labs to discover many new things as per the outcomes.
