JET Agriculture 2021 (Joint Entrance Test), a State- level exam, to be held in the third Week of May 2021 is organized by the Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur.
his exam is conducted to offer admission in courses such as B. Tech (Food Technology/Dairy Technology) & B. Sc Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry (Honours) courses in Rajasthan.

JET Agriculture 2021 Application Forms
- The Application Form of JET Agriculture will be made available online.
- Students will be able to fill the application from first week of March 2021 till second week of April 2021.
- To register for the exam, students have to follow some application steps – Registration, Filling the application, payment of fee and printing of application.
- In case of mistakes in the details of application, modification can be done till the last date.
- Students also have to upload photograph & signature as per the prescribed formats and size.
- After the completion of application process, students must take print out of the filled application form.
- All important information will be sent to candidate’s registered ID & number; so it must be valid & working.
- Candidates will be able to edit details in the application form for a limited time.
- Incomplete details in the application form will lead to rejection of form. So, candidates must fill the form carefully & completely.
- There will be no need to send any hard copy of filled in application form to exam conducting authority.
- Once all details are completely filled, take print outs of filled in application forms.
Application Fee:
- Candidates will be able to submit their application form via online.
- Online mode of payment includes credit card, debit card or net banking.
- Application fee for general category candidates will be Rs.2800/-.
- Reserved category candidates will have to submit Rs.1400/- as their application fee.
- The application fee is non-refundable.
JET Agriculture Corrections in Application Forms
The exam authorities will enable proper correction facilities for the applicants. The correction facility is enabled in the 2nd Week of April 2021. This correction facility is provided only through the online medium. The applicant must login using his/her credentials while correcting the application forms.
JET Agriculture 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Before filling the online JET Agriculture 2021 application form, candidates must ensure that he/she is eligible for sitting in the test. If any candidate is found to be violating the rules of admission, in connection with the eligibility, the candidature will be rejected and will not be allotted any institutions. Some criteria listed below are to be fulfilled to be eligible to apply.
Domicile Requirement
The first and most important thing that candidates will require to be eligible for the examination is domicile or the proof of local resident of Rajasthan State.
Candidates who are local citizens and domicile holders of Rajasthan state are only eligible to apply for JET Agriculture 2021. For this category, candidates have to fulfill the conditions given below:
- The candidate should study the last three years of qualifying examination as a regular student in a recognized institution of Rajasthan.
- Parents of the candidate (Father or Mother) must reside in Rajasthan for a period of last 10 years continuously and the candidate has studied at least 5 years during the period in a recognized educational institution in Rajasthan.
- Son/daughter of a retired or serving employee of the Government of Rajasthan or any of the Universities or Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan that the employee has worked in Rajasthan for three years preceding duly constituted by the Government of Rajasthan by an act of Law before the last date of submission of the application.
- Son/daughter of a retired or permanent employee of Indian Defense Service of Rajasthan origin posted in Rajasthan at the time of last date of the application for admission.
- Son/daughter of serving or retired employee of Paramilitary Forces of India posted in Rajasthan at the time of last date of application for admission.
- Children of a Judge of Rajasthan High Court should submit an undertaking/affidavit showing that benefit is not claimed or availed by them in any other State.
Age: The upper age limit to apply will be 25 years (as per the 12th certificate) as on 01/01/2021.
Academic Qualifications for JET Agriculture 2021
- Candidate should pass the 10+2 examination or equivalent from Rajasthan, Ajmer board/university or from any recognized board.
- Candidates must pass the qualifying examination with agriculture, biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics subjects.
- It is mandatory to score 50% aggregate marks in 12th class (Arts and Commerce streams candidates are not eligible).
- 5% of the relaxation will be offered to the reserved category candidates (SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL/ SBC-NCL) in qualifying marks.
Other Requirements
- Candidates seeking 5% of relaxation will not be considered in UR category.
- Candidates having supplementary in the qualifying exam in 2021 are not eligible to sit in this examination.
- The results candidates will be not declared till after counseling and allotted to the institutions.

Steps to Apply for JET Agriculture 2021

JET Agriculture 2021 Exam Pattern
- The exam of Rajasthan JET will be organized via offline mode as per latest pattern.
- Multiple choice questions will be asked in the exam paper.
- The paper will be available in both – English and Hindi medium.
- There will be total of 200 questions in the exam.
- The time duration to complete the test will be of 2 hours.
- 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
- 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect attempt.

JET Agriculture 2021 Syllabus
The exam paper will contain questions from various topics from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Agriculture and Biology subjects.

Objections on Answer Key
If candidates have any objections regarding the answer key, they can make objections till 4th week of May 2021. Candidates have to file the objections within the prescribed time period assigned by the university. After that, no objections will be accepted.
The answer key will be published for both English and Hindi language papers. The answer key will be checked for all the sets of the question paper.
The objections will be accepted only through online. The objections without any valid proof will not be considered. It is important to be aware of yourself with the marking scheme to file the objection.
JET Agriculture 2021 Cut Off’s
After declaration of entrance exam results, the cut off marks will be published by the concerned authority. Candidates will be able to check it online.
The cut off will be released category-wise for all institutions participating in the admission procedure.
The cut off marks will be the minimum qualifying marks set by the authority for offering admission. The candidates who secure the cut off marks can participate in the counseling rounds.

JET Agriculture 2021 Counseling is conducted from June 2021. For counseling, it is a must to fill the option form after the announcement of the result. Qualified candidates will be allowed to participate in the counseling procedure.
