TS ECET or Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test administrated by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad is a State level entrance test for admission to the 2nd year of engineering & pharmacy courses in the State Institutions. Only Diploma holders & B. Sc graduate candidates can apply for this examination which will be held on 1st July 2021.

TS ECET 2021 Application Forms
- Application form of TS ECET 2021 can be filled from first week of March 2021.
- Candidates will be able to fill their application form through online mode. Any offline mode will not be entertained.
- Fill details correctly like educational, communication, personal and etc.
- Upload the required documents i.e. passport size photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- Candidates will be able to fill their application form till the second week of April 2021 without late fee and till third week of April 2021.
- Correction facility will be provided by the authorities in the second week of April 2021.
- Take print out of the application form and keep it secure for other admission procedure.
Application Fee:
- Candidates can pay their application fee through online mode using debit card/ credit card or net banking.
- Application fee will be non-refundable.

TS ECET 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must check following eligibility criteria before applying for TS ICET exam:
- Candidate should be an Indian citizen.
- Candidates must belong to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh state.
- Candidates must pass diploma degree in Engineering/ Pharmacy from any recognized board or university.
- Candidates with 3 years of B.Sc. (Mathematics) degree are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates must have passed their qualifying examination with 45% (40% for reserved category) marks.
- Candidates those appearing in their final year can also apply.
TS ECET 2021 Exam Pattern
Candidates can check TS ECET exam pattern from the given section:
- Examination will be conducted through online mode.
- Exam will be of 3 hours time duration.
- Objective type of questions will be asked in the examination.
- Question paper will be of 200 marks.
- Question paper will be in English language.
- 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer.
- There will be no negative marking in the exam.

- Candidates will be able to download the TS ECET 2021 admit card after the successful registration process
- The TS ECET 2021 admit card will have certain details printed on it such as the name of candidate, DOB, father’s name, category of the candidate, exam venue, date and time slot of the exam, etc.
- The exam conducting authority will release the hall ticket through online mode only
- The exam authorities will not send the TS ECET admit card to any of the candidates individually by post or any other means

How to Download TS ECET Admit Card 2021
- Go to the TS ECET official website
- Click on the admit card download link
- Login using the ID and password generated at the time of the registration process
- Click on the “Download TS ECET admit card” button

- Proceed further by taking a printout of your admit card
- Candidates are advised to keep it for further process of admission and counseling process
TS ECET 2021 Results
- Candidates will be ranked (Integrated Merit Rank) based on the marks secured by him/her in the TS ECET.
- Please note that requests for re-totaling, revaluation or personal identification of anything related to the online examination will not be entertained.
- Aspirants will be ranked in the order of merit in TS ECET separately in each branch of Engineering Course.
For admission to BE/B. Tech in Information Technology
- First preference will be given to candidates who have obtained the diploma in Information Technology.
- Any seats still vacant shall be filled with candidates who have obtained their Diploma in any branch of Engineering / Technology on the basis of their integrated merit ranking obtained in TS ECET.
For admission into BE / B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering
- First preference will be given to candidates who have obtained the diploma in Computer Science Engineering.
- Any seats still vacant shall be filled with candidates who have obtained their Diploma in any branch of Engineering / Technology on the basis of their integrated merit ranking obtained in TS ECET.
- The Integrated Merit Rank is based on the total marks obtained in TS ECET by candidates with Diploma in any branch of Engineering/Technology.
TS ECET 2021 Tie-breakers
Engineering
- In case of a tie in aggregate, the marks obtained in Engineering subject, and in case of further tie the marks obtained in the Mathematics subject and if the tie still continues, the marks obtained in physics subject will be taken into account to decide the relative ranking.
- In case of candidates getting equal marks in each of the four subjects, they will be bracketed for the purpose of the award of rank. Age of the candidate will be considered at the time of admission for resolving the tie, the older candidate being given preference.
Pharmacy
- Candidates will be ranked on the basis of merit in TS ECET. In case of tie, the percentage of marks secured in the qualifying examination will be taken into consideration.
- On a further tie, age will be taken into consideration; the older candidate will be given priority at the time of admission.
BSc (Mathematics)
- Candidates will be ranked based on the marks obtained in the entrance examinations.
- In case of a tie in aggregate, the marks obtained in Mathematics subject and in case of further tie the aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination shall be taken into account to resolve the tie at the time of admission.
- On a further tie, age will be taken into consideration; the older candidate will be given priority at the time of admission.

TS ECET 2021 Answer Keys
The exam authorities will release the answer key for the TS ECET 2021 exam after a few days of the entrance exam. Candidates can download the answer key along with the question papers. The response sheets have also been released by the conducting authority.

TS ECET 2021 Answer Key
- The master copy of the question paper along with preliminary Key has been hosted on the official website.
- The individual candidates have to compare their questions and answers with respect to the master question paper.
- Any objections regarding preliminary key are to be submitted through online mode only by using this user interface.
- The last date for submitting the objections against the preliminary answer key will be till the third week of May 2021.
- The objections submitted through this interface only will be considered;
- The objections submitted in any other format/mode will not be considered and no correspondence in this respect will be entertained.

TS ECET 2021 Cutoff
- The cutoff will be published on the official website of the TS ECET.
- All the candidates seeking admission through the TS ECET 2021 need to obtain the minimum qualifying marks.
- They must obtain qualifying percentage marks of 25% aggregate in four subjects.
- Candidates with qualifying ranks or marks will be further selected for the TS ECET 2021 counseling process.
Qualifying marks in TS ECET 2021
- The qualifying percentage marks for obtaining a rank in TS ECET [FDH & B. Sc (Mathematics)]-2019 was 25% of the aggregate marks in the four subjects [Three subjects for B. Sc (Mathematics)], i.e., 50 marks out of a total of 200.
- However, in the case of SC/ST candidates, there shall be no minimum qualifying marks for ranking the candidates.
- The rank obtained with the benefit of relaxation of the minimum qualifying marks at the TS ECET [FDH & BSc(Mathematics)]-2019 by any candidate claiming to belong to SC/ST category will be cancelled in case the claim is found to be invalid at the time of admission.
