The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala established in 1967 is situated on the far Western end of Trivandrum Medical College. Offering courses ranging from Diploma in Pharmacy to Ph. D course, the College has emerged as one of the top Pharmacy colleges in Kerala.

The college is maintaining a good academic record over the years due to the untiring efforts of highly dedicated and experienced faculty headed by the Head of the Department. The College also organizes seminars and discussions for keeping pace with the advancement in the field of pharmacy.  

The College is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur.

The College offers B. Pharm, M. Pharm and D. Pharm Courses apart from Ph. D course.  

The eligibility for B. Pharm is passed in 10+2 examination or equivalent examinations with 50 % marks, conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or Examinations equivalent thereto with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology as optional subjects individually. The candidate shall fulfil eligibility before the last date of application.

A candidate who has passed the B. Pharm Degree Examination of Kerala University of Health Sciences or an examination equivalent thereto of any other university recognized by the Kerala University of Health Sciences with not less than a total of 50% marks is eligible for admission to M. Pharm course.

The candidate should have undergone B. Pharm in an institution approved by AICTE & PCI. Candidates who have passed their B. Pharm course outside Kerala will be eligible for admission only if their qualifying examination is recognized by the Kerala University of Health Sciences on the date of application/allotment. The candidate shall fulfil eligibility before the last date of application.

To be eligible for D. Pharm course, a candidate should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Kerala State with Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics as optional subjects or any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent thereto.

The College of Pharmaceutical Sciences is situated on the far Western end of Trivandrum Medical College. The main block of the college contains Lecture halls, Office rooms and well equipped labs for different disciplines such as Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Pharmacognosy, etc.

The block also accommodates the Medical college Toxicology lab. This block has two central courtyards for a Medicinal garden having a fairly good array of medicinal herbs and trees.

Apart from pursuing academic and professional excellence, the College also promotes the participation of the students in sports, Arts, Dance and Music activities by conducting and taking part in several arts and cultural festivals including that conducted by Kerala State Pharmacy Council.
