About Grace College of Pharmacy, Palakkad, Kerala
The Grace College of Pharmacy, Palakkad, Kerala is the first college to start B. Pharm Course in 2001 under the private self-financing sector in the state of Kerala. Grace College of Pharmacy, was established to educate and train students in the knowledge and practice of pharmaceutical sciences contributing to the improvement of the health of the society through educational and research programs. The Grace College of Pharmacy is run by “PALAKKAD DISTRICT SALAFI EDUCATIONAL ASSOCIATION”(PDSEA).
With a vision to attain the status of a premier college of pharmacy, the College strives to impart quality education to students to meet the pharmaceutical needs of society.
The institute offers a 4 year Bachelor degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm), a 2 Year Post Graduate degree in Pharmacy, (M. Pharm), and 6 years Professional graduate degree program (Pharm. D) approved by AICTE, Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.
The College is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences. It is recognized by the Government of Kerala.
Grace College aims at helping students to become independent learners by facilitating the acquisition of practical knowledge, skills and confidence. Grace college organizes a number of training programs to mould the students’ skill sets and ultimately to transform them into readily employable graduate.

Grace College of Pharmacy, Palakkad, Kerala – Course, Fees & Duration
The eligibility for B. Pharm is a pass in 10+2 examination or equivalent examinations with 50 % marks, conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or Examinations equivalent thereto with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology as optional subjects individually. The candidate shall fulfil eligibility before the last date of application.
A candidate who has passed the B. Pharm Degree Examination of Kerala University of Health Sciences or an examination equivalent thereto of any other university recognized by the Kerala University of Health Sciences with not less than a total of 50% marks is eligible for admission to M. Pharm course.
The candidate should have undergone B. Pharm in an institution approved by AICTE & PCI. Candidates who have passed their B. Pharm course outside Kerala will be eligible for admission only if their qualifying examination is recognized by the Kerala University of Health Sciences on the date of application/allotment. The candidate shall fulfl eligibility before the last date of application.
To be eligible for D. Pharm course, a candidate should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Kerala State with Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics as optional subjects or any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent thereto.

The College of Pharmacy with an excellent infrastructure has excellent labs with all the latest equipments and machinery. Apart from the labs, the College has computer labs with 24/7 high-speed internet connection and printers with supporting UPS. The College has a spacious library with all the necessary books in pharmaceutical sciences in sufficient numbers for all the students for their use.
The college library subscribes to many important National and International Journals. Numerous reference materials are also added to the library regularly. Internet facility is also available for quick and easy literature search. An exciting collection of Periodicals adds to the wide range of books on Pharmacy for the students and faculty.
The College accommodates students within well-furnished hostels separately for boys and girls.
A Medicinal garden helps the students learn the techniques pertaining to works like raising and maintenance of the nursery, rising of plantations, raising of shrubs and also get awareness about the floral heritage of India.
A Herbal Museum is provided for practical training and display traditional types of extraction models in ayurveda and siddha.
A Drug museum displayed has various drugs to understand the various combinations and different formulations available in the market.
There are special buses owned by the College to commute students to and from the College to the city.
