Government Polytechnic College was set up in the year 1991 at neyyattinkara. This is one among the pioneer college in the state of Kerala, imparting 3 year Diploma courses in different Engineering as well as non-Engineering disciplines such as Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering and Computer Application and Business Management. Since its origin, this institute has been working with its mission of enhancing and promoting quality technical education in the area of its establishment. As sustainable enhancement and attainment of higher growth rates are the endeavours of any society, the aim of higher education must be planned to suffice these requirements. Govt. Polytechnic College, Neyyattinkara advocates these needs and produce excellent diploma engineers, by giving quality technical education so as to cope with the requires of contemporary trends in science and technology; thus empowers them to earn great heights in their personal life as social life.
