Amrita School of Dentistry was established in the year 2003 at Kochi. The school provides BDS and MDS along with different specialisations and diploma programmes as well. With an area of 154,000 sq ft., it offers top quality and comprehensive education in oral and craniofacial care. The college provides an integrated program of practical programs with the theory coursework.
Amrita School of Dentistry has lecture halls, clinical dental laboratories, conference centre, faculty members offices, clinical treatment areas, administrative offices, research labs, small group discussion areas, and library. It also provides other specialisations in dentistry such as Prosthodontics & Implantology, Orthodontics, Conservative Dentistry, Oral Medicine & Radiology, Periodontics,Paediatric Dentistry, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Public Health Dentistry and Oral Pathology & Microbiology. The School has been ranked eighth position all over India.
The School offers high-quality training facilities in Craniofacial Surgery and Plastic Surgery for trainees in Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery. It also develop the knowledge of oral health by encouraging and helping faculty in the pursuit of innovative research. With a diverse patient population, candidates have the opportunity to acheive a full range of clinical experiences which includes medically compromised cases, treatment of emergency cases, and physically and mentally challenged patients.
Amrita School of Dentistry organize free Dental Health Camps for the rural society & school children as a part of the Societal and Community Development program. Amrita School of Dentistry Admission is started in the month of April each year. Amrita School of Dentistry has a nice placement record over the years as the campus is visited by top firms.

Sports:
The campus has playgrounds that candidates can use to paly outdoor games such as football, or cricket, basketball.
Library:
The Central Library of Amrita School of Dentistry has a spread over 81,000 square feet.
The library has been arranged by the Libsys software.
The library materials that cater to different learning resources of 58103 books,377 Periodicals, 3000+ online e-resources such as e-journals, conference proceedings, e-books, 2650 Project reports,7086 back-volumes, e-databases and standards, 4781 CD/DVDs resources and 14 Daily News Papers.
Digital Library:
The Digital Library has arranged with air-conditioned, which has the capacity of 170 users.
Amrita University subscribes to the online e-resources like ASCE, ACM,ASME, ASTM, A J-Gate (JET) & (SMS), IEEE Xplore (ASPP),ccess Engineering from McGraw-Hill, Springer Journals and E-books, DELNET (bibliographic database), EBSCO, Proquest, IBID , Capitaline and SUNNY BUFFALO, Science Direct-Elsevier.
Medical facilities:
In the case of any emergency, there is a hospital facilities available to the students
There are also first aid kits all over the campus in offices that candidates can access if required.
Hostels:
Hostel facilities are available for girls and boys.
There are 8 hostels in the campus which accommodate more than 3500 inmates.
All hostels have available solar water heaters for supplying hot water.
Night cafeteria is available for all hostels.
All candidates are expected to live in the hostel during their course. However, local candidates who live with their parents within a radius of 30 km from the campus will be allowed to come from their homes.
Pure vegetarian dishes prepared under hygienic conditions is served in the dining halls and the canteens from a Central Kitchen.
Students are not allowed to live in rented houses, lodges, either alone or in groups.
P.G candidates and final year U.G candidates are allotted single rooms.
Tobacco or any other form of intoxicants are strictly prohibited.
