Caarmel Engineering College was founded in the year 2002. It is a leading co-educational and private self financing college providing Undergraduate (UG) Degree courses in Engineering and Postgraduate(PG) Degree courses in Management. The Caarmel Engineering college was brought into existence by the Caarmel Educational Trust which is owned and run by the Believers Church, headquartered at Thiruvalla, Kerala. From its idyllic location, away from the cacophony of nearby towns, the college, has evolved over the years in tune with the educational needs and challenges of a technologically exploding world.

Caarmel Engineering College (CEC) is situated in a serene and picturesque campus of over 120 acres. is It nestled amidst beautiful wooded hills, at an altitude of across 1000 m above Mean Sea Level, of Pathanamthitta District, on the south-eastern part of Kerala.The campus, is mainly designed as a knowledge centre, that is one with nature, away from the main road stretch off 4 kms from Perunad, en route to Sabarimala. The major towns that are close-by are Pathanamthitta and Ranni which are about 27 & 20 kms away, respectively. The nearest railway stations will be Chengannur which is almost 43 kms and Thiruvalla which is about 52 kms away. The climate throughout the year is very good, pleasant and the ambience devoid of pollution, making the campus an ideal home for scholarly work.

The college has a fully equipped and a large auditorium with capacity of around 2000 person

Hostel

The college offers the hostel facility to the boys and girls separately inside the campus.
Each hostel has accommodation of around 400 capacity

Sports

The college offer all indoor and outdoor games and has the active participation of our boys and girls
Outdoor games like Basketball, Football, Volley ball and Indoor games like Chess and Shuttle Badminton
The college has a very good Basket- Ball Court and a Badminton court, both offered with flood lit illumination.
