The Kelappaji College of Agricultural Engineering, is the only Agricultural college in Kerala. It is located at Tavanur in Malappuram district.The Kelappaji college is affiliated to the faculty of Agricultural Engineering of Kerala. B.Tech. and M.Tech. Agricultural Engineering degree courses were started across 99-acre campus in the yaer 1985.
A B.Tech. in Food Engineering was added in the year 2011. The major degree courses provided at KCAET are the B.Tech. in Agricultural and Food Engineering, with capacity of 40 per degree course, and the M.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering. The M.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering in such a disciplines of Soil ,Water Conservation Engineering, Farm Power Machinery,, Energy Food Processing, each streams having an intake capacity of 5. Kelappaji College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Malappuram provides 4 degree courses across 1 branch namely Engineering and across 2 degrees like B.Tech, M.Tech.Hostel facility is not available for the students. Kelappaji College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology accepts KEAM – BE/B.Tech for admission into Engineering degree courses.
