Sahrdaya College of Engineering, Thrissur was started in the year 2002. It is run under Irinjalakuda Diocesan Educational Trust. It is affiliated to Calicut University, and approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. It is recognized by Government of Kerala and accredited by The Institution of Engineers. The main vision of the SCET is to train the youth to be the young leaders of tomorrow with apt professional skills, deep-rooted sense of social responsibility, strong ethical values to face the challenges of changing world. The institute has full fledge auditorium with best and excellent light, sound and furniture arrangements with over 700 seating capacity.
Computer Lab
The institute has computer lab with almost 533 computers which are well equipped with latest tools and techniques.
Library
The library spread over an area of around 697 sq mtrs. and has a seating capacity of over 700 students. It has a collection of 6088 titles and 16540 volumes of books.
Hostel
It is Available for both boys and girls separately with accommodation capacity of over 150 male and 350 female students.
