M Dasan Institute of Technology was started in the year 2012-13. It was started with a total of seven academic departments. The M Dasan institute was named after the late dynamic visionary Shri M.Dasan. The course programs provided at the institute is extended beyond the horizon of engineering and it also cover the key aspects of management. The M Dasan college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. The M Dasan college is affiliated to the University of Calicut, Kerala.
The M Dsan Institute is a venture of Memorial Co-operative institute of Engineering and Information Technology.
