KVM College, was started in the year 2001. The KVM college is run under the K. Velayudhan Memorial Trust. The KVM college is affiliated to Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT). The KVM college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The KVM college provides Master of Computer of Application (M.C.A.), (M.B.A.), (M.Sc.) and (B.Tech.) in many specializations. The KVM College has started B.Tech – Mechanical, Civil, EEE, ECE and CSE course programs from the academic year 2012-13. The KVM College has a well dedicated Training and Placement Cell to ensure that all students are sought after in the best professional world outside the campus.

The KVM College has good laboratory and workshop facilities with most modern advanced equipments.
Library
It is Well resourced library with national and international journals, periodicals and reference materials. The college has Wi-Fi enabled reading room. The library operates on an open access system. We have a collection of over 14000 books, 4 ejournals, 36 national and 39 international journals, 35 periodicals and CDs/ DVDs which are of immense help to the students and faculty members. It has well Qualified and experienced library staff members will be helping them to make use of these facilities.
Wifi Campus
KVMCEIT offer the Wi-Fi facility to students and faculty members to access Internet connectivity anywhere in and around the campus using their Laptops. This Wi-fi zone was activated on April 2009. The Security and management is done at Internet Resource Centre.
