Reva University was established by Rukmini Educational Charitable Trust (RECT) with the aim of promoting, establishing and conducting developmental activities in the fields of Arts, Commerce, Education, Engineering, Environmental Science, Management, Science & Technology, Law, Architecture, Performing Arts and others. The Trust seeks to fulfil its vision of providing world-class education and opportunities for the youth of this nation to excel in the areas of Engineering Science & Technology, Commerce, Management, Law, Architecture, Education, Arts and Performing Arts.
REVA University aspires to become an innovative university by developing excellent human resources through higher education of global standards. Its mission includes the development of excellent infrastructural facilities and state-of-the-art laboratories and incubation centres and providing a student-centric learning environment through innovative pedagogy and education reforms.
REVA University has been established under the REVA University Act 2012. REVA University believes in preparing students through Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and Continuous Assessment and Grading Pattern (CAGP) of education to enable students to opt for subjects of their choice in addition to the core subjects of study and prepare them with required skills.
Reva University has ten constituent institutions providing education from Pre University to Post Graduation and providing research and resource support to Ph. D. degree aspirants. REVA has a faculty of well qualified and experienced teaching professionals, most of whom are doctorates. The dedicated faculty is strongly supported by committed administrative and technical staff.
The University is home to over 15,000 students studying different courses across REVA’s three campuses equipped with a state-of-the-art infrastructure of global standard and exciting environment for the knowledge-driven community.

REVA University has three campuses equipped with the state-of-the-art infrastructure of global standard and exciting environment for the knowledge-driven community. University has a huge campus of 45+acres.
REVA has smart classrooms that are completely digitalised with projectors, Moodle and Lecture Capturing System to preserve paper.
The School of Electronics and Communication Engineering, School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, UIIC (University-Industry Interaction Centre), REVA NEST, Kuvempu Auditorium, Kalpana Chawla Seminar Hall, CN Rao Seminar Hall, Aryabhatta Seminar Hall, and Open Air Theatre are housed at CV Raman Block. School of Performing Arts and RACE is housed at Administrative Block of REVA University. These schools are using cutting-edge technology and well-equipped laboratories that assist in research and development in respective fields of engineering.
REVA has 4 large auditoria in the campus to cater to all cultural and extracurricular needs of students. Each auditorium is a state-of-the-art structure with high-end technology visual and audio tools that offer unique space to accommodate a large audience. Each auditorium is well lit, spacious and soundproof to organise various events and performances successfully.
The transport network of REVA spreads across Bengaluru City. The buses are well equipped with automated door systems to ensure the safety of students and staff during the travel. Every bus has a driver and an attendant who ensures the safe pick up and drop off the passengers. The buses are available for the staff and students at a subsidised rate.
The entire REVA campus is under the surveillance of CCTV to ensure the security of people inside the campus. CCTV cameras ensure 24/7 security to the day scholars, hostelites, faculty members, and staff of REVA University.
REVA NEST is a technology incubation centre to empower and
nurture entrepreneurial skills in the students. REVA NEST supports the students
to incubate start-ups having innovative ideas.
REVA UNIVERSITY, Bangalore offers well-equipped Health care Centre headed by a full-time Resident Doctor and supported by paramedical staff is located on the campus. It takes care of the medical needs of all students, faculty members and other staff.

The air-conditioned library has 800 seating capacity with a huge collection of books & journals both in print and e-form. The University has implemented RFID, to provide the easiest, faster, most efficient way to track, locate and manage the library materials and also automatic check-in and check-out.
