Mahatma Gandhi University [MGU] is a renowned public university, situated in the Nalgonda district of Telangana, which was founded during the year 2007. The University was formerly called as Nalgonda University, which was later known as Mahatma Gandhi University by the Andhra Pradesh[AP] Government in 2008. Library:
The university library functions with the sole objective of catering to the information need of candidates and teachers for their academic and research activities. The library has a total collection of 8794 titles and 31005 volumes. It subscribes 1 International Jornal, 69 National Journals and 13 SAGE e-Journals.
Hostel:
The university has 3 spacious and well-maintained hostels, 2 for the boys and 1 for the girls. The 3 hostels provide residential facility to more than 1200 candidates.
Seminar Hall:
The college has a total strength of about 2000 candidates. There are a number of events, discussions, seminars conducted for these students. The university has invested in a seminar hall for this purpose which accommodates about 1000 candidates at a time.
