The erstwhile Kerala Technological University, now called as APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University was started on May 2014 in the south Indian state of Kerala. The main objective of offering good quality education & leadership to engineering and best technological education in Kerala. It is Headquartered in Thiruvanathapuram district. APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University was started up to best serve as a teaching institute as well as an affiliation university. The key thrust areas of around research, development & innovation. Scholarships for the students with disabilities: It is Under this scheme, 2500 scholarships are offered to eligible differently-abled students for Degree and Postgraduate level professional and best technical courses from recognized institutions in India.

30% scholarships will be reserved for all girls, which will be transferable to male students in case of non-availability of female students.

The scholarship amount comprises course programs fees, maintenance allowance, books and stationery and other allowance and aids and appliances of the student.
