The College of Engineering, Adoor, was established in October 1995 by the Institute of Human Resource Development, a Government of Kerala undertaking. Admission process are carried out on the basis of the ranks secured in the All Kerala Common Entrance Examinations, conducted by the Controller of Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala. College of Engineering Adoor is a center of academic excellence that offers undergraduate studies to about 1000 students in 4 disciplines. It imparts technical education and training in the fields of Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics and Mechanical Engineering. The college is affiliated to Cochin University of Science and Technology which is known internationally for its academic excellence. College of Engineering Adoor is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi.
The college is magnificently spread across 12.7acres of scenic paradise. The College has best and excellent infrastructure facilities, which includes an exhaustive central library, department libraries, well equipped laboratories and workshop. College of Engineering, Adoor also has a modern computer centre with high speed internet connection. College of Engineering Adoor has achieved lot a milestone both in academic and co-curricular pursuits.
