College of Engineering Kallooppara, is situated in the Sylvan hills of Pathanamthitta district. It is one of the institutions among the new generation colleges of South India. It is an inception under the aegis of the Institute of Human Resources Development. It is founded by Govt. of Kerala the college of engineering has already made its presence in the technical horizon of the Kerala State. The College is affiliated to Cochin University of Science and Technology and approved by (AICTE).All India Council for Technical Education.
Kallooppara is the land with the most divine touch and peace in Pathanamthitta District . Kallooppara is popularly known for its religious harmony between all the sects of god such as Hindu, a Christian, or a Muslim. People of this land has been lived in peaceful coexistence from time immemorial. This land which is bestowed with these divine gifts is set most appropriately at the central part of the turquoise blue waters of the river Manimala, that originates from the Peruvanthanam hillocks, joins with the well-known river Pampa at Keecherivalil. The college offers excellent campus placement opportunity for students. College of Engineering is dedicated to scientific advancement, technological progress and economic growth of the country through human resources development.

Library
The Library holds books on subjects that include Science & Technology, Engineering, Technical Communication, Humanities and Literature with internet support. There are separate Department Libraries which have concentrated collections on each subject and are accessible to the young students and staff members of respective departments. It is mainly linked with the Digital Library of AICTE-INDEST consortium.
Labs & Workshops
CEK includes Computer Lab, Electronics Laboratory, Electrical Lab and Mechanical Lab which are well maintained. The labs prepare the students to deal with highly modern technologies through regular lab sessions which is run under the supervision of highly qualified Technical staff members.
Transportation
The college has its own transportation facilities to major areas which is surrounding the campus. Besides this, the college is also accessible through Public transport.
Hostel
The college offers accommodation for both Boys and Girls and furnished with all the necessary amenities. Being in Rural area, it enjoys pollution free and non-political environment.

The faculty members is talented and young and full of enthusiasm who really take care of all the requirements of the students. Apart from these streams of engineering, the students are trained in several personality development programs, like personality development, spoken English, communication skills.

The central, AICTE and state schemes for scholarship gives the deserving students several opportunities for enrolment in the program. Almost 50% of the undergraduate seats are allocated through merit quota which subsidizes the fee for the student on the basis of his entrance exam performance. The low-Income group students are provided with financial assistance through Scholarships of the state and centre. Fees exemption are available for all students with reservation and other government concessions with no particular scholarship from the institution as it is a Government controlled Self Financing Institution.
The National Scholarship Portal of Electronics & Information Technology, and Government of India is solely responsible for the distribution of scholarship to the students on behalf of the central government.
