It is founded in the year 2010, it is accredited from AICTE and it is affiliated to University of Kerala. HCET, Nedumangad provides 5 courses across 1 branch namely Engineering and across 1 degrees like B.Tech. HCET campus is spread across 30 Acres. Hostel facility is not available for the students.
It includes campus facilities such as Auditorium, Wifi,ATM, Boys Hostel, Convenience store, Canteen, Computer Lab, Seminar Hall, Fest, Cultural zone, Alumini associations, ATM,Girls Hostel, Banking,Guest house, Gym are also available. Heera College of Engineering & Technology accepts KEAM – BE/B.Tech for admission into Engineering degree courses.

Library :
The library has subscribed to more than over 2600 online international journals. It comprises a large number of collection of Technical Reference Books, National and International Journals, Online Journals, CDs, Periodicals, Magazines etc. The library has access to following databases:
Science Direct – Science Direct is website operated by Elsevier containing over 11 million articles from around 2,500 journals and 6,000 e-books, reference works, book series and handbooks.
Hostel :
There is separate facilities for both boys and girls. A boys hostel is inside the campus and girls hostel is run in a private building which is managed by the college administration. A new hostel is in construction on the campus. Two rooms are allotted exclusively for faculty members. There is a mess in the hostel which offers veg as well as non-veg food to the hostellers in separate dining halls.
NSS :
NSS unit no. 248 was started in the college in the year 2012 with a strength of over 108 volunteers. The volunteers are encouraged for the personality development of all students through community service. The programs conducted by NSS that includes blood donation camp, army day, palliative care etc.
Cultural Activities :
In order to promote cultural activities in the college, lots of cultural events are organized time to time. Competitions based on music and dances are also organized periodically to enhance the talents of the students.
