Sreepathy Institute of Management and Technology, Palakkad was founded in the year 2009 run by Sreepathy Trust. Sreepathy Institute has been mainly intended to be a self-financing Engineering college with a unique identity and a center of excellence different from the lot of Engineering colleges in Kerala. Its main aim is Striving for excellence in generation and dissemination of knowledge. The vision is to develop engineers and technologies of highest caliber to take new challenges in technological environments and contributing to nation building meeting global standards, upholding lofty ethical standards.
SIMAT is owned and managed by Sreepathy Trust is made up of technocrats,engineers,philanthropists and industrialists,all working towards a common goal of ensuring the continued excellence and development of this institution.The college is affiliated to Calicut University and offers courses that have been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE),New Delhi. Sreepathy Institute Of Management And Technology,was intended to be a self-financing Engineering college with a distinct identity and a center of excellence different from the many Engineering colleges in Kerala. SIMAT is situated on a small hillock,in the midst of verdant and scenic beauty which provides a perfect setting of serenity and peace for the campus in its pursuit of excellence.It’s location in Vavanoor ,400 meters from Palakkad-Guruvayur state highway makes it conveniently by all forms of transportation.
