Mar Baselios Christian College of Engineering and Technology, Kuttikkanam, is a self-financing institution for professional Education. It is affiliated to Kerala Technological University and Mahatma Gandhi University and approved by (AICTE) All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. The College is owned and run by the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, which plays a major paternal role in the institution’s establishment and operations. The institution mainly focuses on providing baccalaureate degree programs in several Engineering branches. In the year 2001, the College started functioning as a new generation Engineering College. In the year 2001, the College is on a steady path of growth and up-gradation. Our main aim is to offer our students with the best possible facilities and the right training.

With the several batches of students already passed out with flying colours, the College is well on to fulfil its long term objective of being a centre of excellence in quality education and student life is concerned. Library- The library is fully computerized with an area of around 450 Sq. mt. and it has more than over 25000 volumes of text books comprising 5000+ titles. The books are supplemented by CD’s and microfilms.
Computer Lab- The College has a computer lab with almost 60 latest and well-equipped computers. All items are fully branded systems with TFT LCD monitor and with latest configuration. All the systems are with more than three servers through Local Area Network. All the terminals have internet access through a well dedicated leased line as well as a broadband connection.
Hostel- The college offers the separate hostel facility to boys and girls. It has two hostels for boys with capacity of over 450 students and two hostels for girls with capacity of almost 600 students.
Sports- Institute offers Indoor and Outdoor games facility including cricket, shuttle, football, volleyball, table tennis, basketball and badminton etc.
