Universal Engineering College, Thrissur was established in the year 2011 by a group of successful industrialists and business personalities the one who firmly believed that only education system can impact the lives and welfare of the society for a brighter and excellent future. The Universal Engineering College Admission process is open on the official website of the college. Application procedures for B.Tech, M.Tech and NRI admissions are available on the concern website. The Universal Engineering College affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, has been approved by AICTE and also holds ISO 9001:2015 certification. UEC, Thrissur provides 7 degree courses across 1 branch namely Engineering and across 2 degree programs like B.Tech, M.Tech. Hostel facility is not available for the students. It includes campus facilities such as ATM, Wifi, Boys Hostel, Banking,Canteen, Auditorium, Computer Lab, Library, Class Room, Seminar Hall, Placement, Alumini association,Sports, Grounds, Transport are also available. Campus:
All the infrastructure facilities for the College campus have been entrusted to design and develop by renowned Architects and Engineers.
The building is constructed of highest quality standards to make the facilities most modern, aesthetic, comfortable and convenient for the users.
The Universal College site is blessed with sufficient drinking water and electricity.
Library:
The Library is nearly 1500 sq. ft. It has more than around 5000 volumes of textbooks and over 40 journals/magazines and access to over 275 e-journals.
Computer Lab:
Computer centres offers computational facilities to all users in the college those are Eligible students staff members & faculty from all Department can obtain accounts on the high-end systems centre offer e-mail, web & FTP services.
Communication Skill Lab:
These labs are well equipped to enhance their communication skills with help of software.
Students can acquire good knowledge regarding presentation, group discussion and interview skills.
Students can learn through media and software by standard IT companies.
Internet Lab:
Well Dedicated Internet Leased line of 2 Mbps, are connected to more than hundred terminals throughout the Campus.

Universal college provides separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls.

UEC has offered an adequate number of buses for students and staff members from the suburbs of Thrissur, Guruvayoor, Chalakudy, Mala, Palakkad and Aluva districts.
Students are provided with bus passes.

Scholarship facility is awarded to students based on their academic merits. Scholarships are awarded to students to assist them in attaining their dreams from financial hurdles.Full A+ in +2 under management Category, students can avail 100% scholarship on their fee money while Students scoring 90%, 80% and 75% in their +2 can avail 50%, 25%, 10% scholarship respectively.
